3. Which American car executive was involved in designing the car famed for being in the 'Back to the Future' trilogy?

John DeLorean was arrested for possession of 59 pounds of cocaine with the intent to distribute in 1982. He pleaded not guilty and was ultimately acquitted. He was responsible for Pontiac's GTO and Firebird and the DeLorean automobiles.
4. What animal has the highest blood pressure?

Answer: Giraffe

The blood pressure of a giraffe is the highest of all animals, reaching about 300 mm Hg in its systolic, or upper phase, and 200 mm Hg in its diastolic, or lower phase. The giraffe's blood pressure is higher than ours because the giraffe's heart has to pump blood up a neck seven feet long to reach his brain.

Answer: Canada

According to the World Resources Institute, the longest overall coastlines are as follows:

Canada 265,523 km
Norway 53,199 km

7. Who painted 'The Blue Boy' painting?

Answer: Thomas Gainsborough

'The Blue Boy' is a full-length portrait in oil painted by Thomas Gainsborough in 1770. It currently resides in the Huntington Library, San Marino, California, USA.

You would need a big wall to hang this on as it is large with dimensions of 1.78 metres by 1.12 metres.

All the other artistes mentioned are from the Rococo period.
8. What is the oldest continually inhabited capital in the world?

Answer: Damascus (Syria)

Hardly surprising that the oldest continually occupied cities all come from the ancient world. Damascus is widely believed to be the oldest continuously inhabited capital in the world, with evidence of habitation dating back at least 11,000 years.
9. Which US State does NOT border Lake Superior?

Answer: Illinois

The state of Illinois has a border on Lake Michigan. All the other states mentioned border Lake Superior.
10. Which driver was disqualified after winning his home Grand Prix in 1976?

Answer: James Hunt (British)

James Hunt (GB), Jacques Lafitte (France) and Clay Regazzoni (Swiss) were all disqualified for using their spare car after a crash on the first lap of the race. They all restarted in their spare cars, and despite Hunt winning the Grand Prix, they were all later disqualified after the Ferrari team took the matter to the FIA (which was hypocritical given that their own driver, Clay Regazzoni had started in a spare car, but retired due to gearbox issues).

James Hunt went on to win the 1976 F1 Championship beating his arch rival, Niki Lauda by a single point!
