Answer: 1993

Joe Montana transferred from the San Francisco 49ers to the Kansas City Chiefs in 1993. He asked for a transfer to ease the troubles that the 49ers were having with whom to start as quarterback. Joe was offered a choice of shirt numbers before playing for the Chiefs and opted for 19 as his number. Joe Montana retired from football in 1995, and was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2000. In 1969 the K-19 was involved in a collision with the American attack submarine USS-Gato.
4. The song "19" by Paul Hardcastle used snippets regarding what war?

Answer: Vietnam

The song sampled parts from the TV documentary "Vietnam Requiem". The narrator from the original show, Peter Thomas, received royalties from the song as it was his voice that was heard. The song "19" went to the number one spot in over twelve different countries. With the help of Paul Hardcastle, "19" was parodied by the comedian Rory Bremner.

The parody version was about the English cricket team and how the captain could only average 19 runs against the West Indies cricket team in 1984.

They blasted off from the Kennedy Space Center on 7th December 1972 and returned to Earth on 19th December, some 12 days later.
