1. After graduating as valedictorian at West Point, which future Supreme Allied Commander Europe of NATO attended the University of Oxford on a Rhodes Scholarship?

Answer: General Wesley Clark

Wesley Clark was born Wesley Kanne in Chicago on December 23, 1944. After his father's death in 1948, his mother remarried Viktor Clark, who raised Wesley as his own and adopted him on Wesley's 16th birthday. The valedictorian of his class at West Point, Clark won a Rhodes scholarship to study at Oxford University in England in his senior year. He completed his degree in the Philosophy, Politics, and Economics program at Magdalen College at the University of Oxford in August 1968. After serving as Supreme Allied Commander for NATO in Kosovo from 1997 to 2000, General Clark retired from military service.

Wesley Merritt was a general in the United States Army during the American Civil War and the Spanish-American War.

Major General W.O. West was a fictional Air Force general that oversaw experiments with an ancient artifact found in Egypt that produced a wormhole that allowed teams to explore the universe. Once the artifact, known as the Stargate from the movie and TV show "Stargate", connected to Abydos, Maj. Gen. West militarized the program.

General William Westmoreland was a retired United States Army four-star general, who commanded U.S. military operations in the Vietnam War at its peak, 1964-1968, and later served as U.S. Army chief of staff from 1968 to 1972.

Answer: Reginald Lisowski

"The Crusher" lived from 1926 to 2005. He was the equivalent self-promoter in wrestling that Muhammad Ali was in boxing. He played football in school and then took up wrestling. Reg maintained a formidable build by exercising, and claimed to practice running with a keg full of beer on each shoulder, empty by the time he was done. He coined the term 'megaton biceps'. Reg was known for his 'bolo' punch and devastating full Nelson. He won the AWA world championship three times, spent 40 years on the road and was inducted into the WCW Hall of Fame in 1994.

Answer: R.E.M.

7. By the first decade of the 21st century, was anyone convicted of murder based on forensic evidence of an identifiable body (or parts) found in the remains of a vehicle that had gone through a car crusher?

Answer: No

There has been speculation, of course, but the immensely strong steel of the crusher packs vehicles together once they're stripped of any value, and everything becomes in the end phase a brick of mostly metal combined with whatever else was in the car. Car crushers are compactors: there is the 'pancake' type that flattens the car with an enormous descending hydraulic plate, and there is the baling press type which compacts from all directions until the end result is a 'metal' cube.

The crusher has become a popular icon in films and TV - such as "Goldfinger", "Pulp Fiction" and "Breaking Bad" among many others.

Question by alexis722.
8. "Bone crusher" is a cocktail similar to a Long Island Iced Tea and a Baltimore Zoo. Which type of alcohol does the original recipe NOT contain?

Answer: Whiskey

Rumor has it that the cocktail was concocted at a T.G.I.Friday's in Washington D.C., and became popular almost immediately. Here's the recipe:

1/2 oz gin
1/2 oz vodka
1/2 oz triple sec
1/2 oz rum
1/4 oz grenadine syrup
1/4 oz Rose'sŪ lime juice
2 oz sweet and sour mix
1 oz Champagne

Combine all ingredients (except champagne) in a cocktail shaker and shake vigorously. Pour into a tall glass, preferably a pint glass or large brandy snifter with ice, and float the champagne on top with a squeeze of lemon. Serve
and/or drink!
