Answer: Avaz Twist Tower

The beautiful tower has, as the name suggests, a twisted facade. Completed in 2008, the top floor is 150m (490ft) tall and the antenna on the tower takes the total height to 176m (577ft). There is a cafe operating on the 35th floor and the top floor has an observation deck with 360 degree views of the city.
2. Sarajevo Film Festival - Sarajevo Philharmonic Orchestra - architect Karl Parzik

Answer: Sarajevo National Theatre

The Sarajevo National Theatre opened in 1921. Originally only drama performances were hosted, but after World War II ballet and opera were added to the program. The Sarajevo Philharmonic Orchestra also performs at the Theatre.
3. Miljacka River bridge - Dariva, east of Sarajevo

Answer: Goat's Bridge

This bridge can be found on a walking tour that goes about 8km into the rugged Miljacka Canyon. The path will bring bring you to the Goat's Bridge (as of 2016 it was believed to be the only fully preserved bridge from the Ottoman reign).

The bridge contains a central arch and a circle on each side of the arch.
4. Music festival - Edin Zubcevic - week in November

Answer: Sarajevski Jazz Festival

Started in 1997, months after the siege of the city ended, the annual Jazz Festival has continued to grow in popularity. Edin Zubcevic, is the founder and director of the festival. Many musical styles, based on jazz and improvisation, are represented.
5. Dobrinja to Butmir - Kolar family

Answer: Sarajevo Tunnel Museum

Reports on the length of the tunnel vary from approximately 700m to 1000m. The tunnel was built during the Siege of Sarajevo, completed in 1993 after about six months of digging in primitive conditions. The tunnel allowed folk to escape and brought provisions and weapons in. Today the museum can be found at the Kolar house, where one can traverse about 20m of the tunnel, and view a short film about the siege.
6. Bosna River bridge - Ilidza municipality - Vrelo Bosne public park

Answer: Roman Bridge

Originally built in Roman times for access to Aquae Sulphurae, the bridge was rebuilt in the 16th century with the material from the ruins. Automobile traffic was once allowed across the bridge, but since a 1986 renovation the bridge is reserved for pedestrians. It was designated as a national monument of Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2005.

The bridge is constructed of seven semi-circular arches, increasing in size toward the center.
7. Bijela tabija, Zuta tabija - Visegradska kapija - Ahmed-Pasha Rustempasic Skopljak

Answer: Vratnik

The original city was not fortified and in 1697 Prince Eugene of Savoy and his army destroyed much of the city. Ahmed-Pasha Rustempasic Skopljak began building fortifications around the city in approximately 1727. The Bijela tabija (White Fortress) sits above the city. Zuta tabija (Yellow Fortress) is on Jekovak Cliff. Visegradska kapija (Visegrad Gate) is one of the three gate-towers that were used to funnel all traffic in and out of the city.
8. 1992 bombing - Vedran Smailović - National and University Library of Bosnia and Herzegovina

Answer: Vijećnica

The original building, City Hall of Sarajevo, was opened in 1896. In 1949 it became the National and University Library of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Destroyed by bombing in 1992 by Serb forces, a photo of Vedran Smailović playing the cello in the building's rubble captured the attention of folk around the world. Many one-of-kind artifacts were lost.
9. Miljacka River bridge - assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand and his wife Sophie

Answer: Latin Bridge

The northern side of the bridge was where the assassination took place. Gavrilo Princip, aged 19, shot them both while they were in the car. The couple had escaped unscathed from an assassination attempt earlier in the day by a grenade.

During the Yugoslavian era the bridge was called Princip, but after Yugoslav Wars it became again the Latin Bridge. The bridge is constructed of four arches which cross the river with two round openings.
10. Free Culture Festival - Old Town District - month of July

Answer: Basčarsija Nights

The annual festival traditionally starts with a concert by the Sarajevo Philharmonic Orchestra. Throughout the month many cultural events are scheduled such as opera, ballet, films, concerts, etc. Many of the activities are performed in open-air stages, including the stage opposite Town Hall.
