Answer: coffee

Espresso (meaning both "express" and "pressed out") is a coffee drink originating in Italy. In 1884, Angelo Moriondo patented his device for making a steam-driven coffee beverage.

Answer: Sausages

Kielbasa is a Polish sausage, and comes in varieties such as kabanos (which is thin, dried and flavoured with caraway seeds) and krakowska (a spicy smoked sausage from Krakow). Boerewors ('farmer's sausage') is from South Africa, and its main ingredient is beef, though it often contains lamb and / or pork as well. Saveloy is a reddish-coloured pork sausage often sold in British fish-and-chip shops, and sometimes battered.

Answer: Wonka bar

Wonka bars first appeared in the 1964 novel "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory", and came to exist as a real life brand in 1971 to tie with the movie "Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory" starring Gene Wilder. It was bought by Nestlé in 1988, and was re-launched in 2005 to tie in with the Tim Burton movie of "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory". Whether or not the real life version matches up to its fictional counterpart as the "perfect candy bar" is a matter of opinion!

Answer: View-Master

When the View-Master was introduced at the New York World's Fair it was to be an alternative to the postcard. It was made by William Gruber who teamed up with Harold Graves to bring the familiar round disk with 7 small photo pairs to the public. Its popularity spread after World War II. Over 1.5 billion disks, known as reels, have been made.

Eggs Benedict is a wonderful breakfast meal that consists of poached eggs on English muffins with either bacon or ham and covered in Hollandaise sauce. The origins of this breakfast treat cannot be verified, but the first written mention of the dish was in 1942 in the American magazine "The New Yorker".

An interesting fact is that Edward Stanley Gibbons was born in 1840, the same year in which the Penny Black, the world's first adhesive postage stamp, was issued.
