Lois Lowry wrote "The Giver", which won the Newbery Award for Excellence in Children's Literature, in 1994. The book is read in many schools, however, it has been banned in some schools, because it mentions infanticide.

As far as I am aware, none of the other three are even real books. "Tuck Everlasting" by Natalie Babbitt has been made into two movies, one in 1981, and one in 2002.

Elie Wiesel, a living survivor from the Holocaust, wrote "Night" to help people understand the past. He has also written numerous other books about his experiences and was awarded a Nobel Peace Prize in 1986 for his works.

"Julius Caesar" is a tragedy written by William Shakespeare. It is believed to have been written in 1599.

Most of the events in this book are actually based on the writer Mark Twain's experiences in his childhood. The character, Tom Sawyer, for whom the book was named, also appears many times in other books written by Mark Twain.
