Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Which of these sailor senshi is the odd one out? (Hint: Mugen Gakuen.)

Answer: Sailor Mars

Sailor Mars is one of the 'Senshi of the Four Guardian Deities', or the group of sailor senshi who act as the Princess Serenity's protectors. Sailor Neptune, Sailor Saturn and Sailor Uranus, along with Sailor Pluto, make up the Senshi of the Outer Solar System, whose job is to guard the Moon Kingdom (or the Door of Space-Time in Pluto's case).
2. Which of these transformation items is the odd one out? (Hint: who uses them?)

Answer: Prism Heart Compact

The Prism Heart Compact is the item Chibiusa uses to transform into Sailor Chibi Moon. The other compacts, brooches etc. are all used by Usagi to transform into Sailor Moon at various stages.
3. Which of these villains is the odd one out? (Hint: have you seen the anime? Also, think of the names.)

Answer: Zeolite

Zeolite and his partner Xenotime, unlike the others, did not appear in the anime, and they were the only male minions of the Dead Moon Circus who were not originally animals. Fisheye, Hawk's Eye and Tiger's Eye started life as a fish, a hawk and a tiger respectively, belonged to the Dead Moon Circus, and were changed into humans by the Amazoness Quartetto.
4. Which of these animals is the odd one out? (Hint: fur or feathers?)

Answer: Phobos

Phobos is one of Rei Hino's crows, the other being Deimos. They can change into humans and are from the planet Coronis, and they gave Rei the Mars Crystal in the Dream arc. Luna, Diana and Artemis are cats, belonging to Usagi, Chibiusa and Minako respectively. In the manga, they can also change into humans and are from the planet Mau.
5. Which of these weapons is the odd one out? (Hint: Sailor Saturn.)

Answer: Cutie Moon Rod

The Cutie Moon Rod is one of Sailor Moon's weapons, which she received from Neo Queen Serenity in the Black Moon arc. The Deep Aqua Mirror, Space Sword and Garnet Orb make up the three talismans belonging to the Outer Senshi (Neptune, Uranus and Pluto respectively), which are used to summon Sailor Saturn.
6. Which of these Sailor Animamates is the odd one out? (Hint: if you've seen the musicals, you might get this one.)

Answer: Sailor Titanium Kerokko

The Animamates in the manga were, in order of appearance: Sailor Iron Mouse, Sailor Aluminium Seiren, Sailor Lead Crow, Sailor Tin Nyanko, and Sailor Heavy Metal Papillon, who - unlike the others - did not appear in the anime. Sailor Titanium Kerokko was a musicals-only character.
7. Which of these attacks used by Sailor Venus is the odd one out? (Hint: one of these attacks sounds like something another senshi might use.)

Answer: Crescent Beam

All Sailor Venus' other attacks appeared in the 'Sailor Moon' manga. Crescent Beam is an anime-only attack, though Minako did use it as Sailor V in the 'Codename: Sailor V' manga.
8. Which of these villains is the odd one out? (Hint: 3 O'Clock Fairies.)

Answer: Queen Badiane

Bit of a tough one, this. Touhiichan, Bonnone and Otakura are genius loci from the side chapters. Touhiichan clashed with Sailor Jupiter in 'Mako-chan's Depression', while Bonnone fell foul of Sailor Mercury in 'Ami-chan's First Love'; both of these stories were part of the 'Exam Battle' series. In 'The Secret Hammer Price Shrine', one of the 'Chibiusa's Picture Diary' side chapters, Otakura took over Hotaru's body and was defeated by Sailor Moon and Sailor Chibi Moon.

As for Queen Badiane, she is an anime-only character, a witch who uses the power of children's dreams to fuel her black Dream Hole, which she plans to use to swallow the Earth. She appears in the 'Sailor Moon SuperS' movie, 'The Nine Sailor Senshi Get Together!: Miracle in the Black Dream Hole'.
9. Which of these villains is the odd one out? (Hint: it helps if you've seen the anime as well.)

Answer: Prince Demand

Although all four of these villains died in the manga, Prince Demand is the only one who WASN'T spared by the anime. Nehellenia, Dr Tomoe and Hawk's Eye all lived; although the Amazon Trio did sacrifice their lives to save Usagi's Dream Mirror, Pegasus saved them by giving them their own Dream Mirrors. Dr Tomoe was possessed, rather being evil, and Nehellenia was given the chance to live her live over again. Demand, however, died trying to protect Sailor Moon from Wiseman.
10. Which one of these villains is the odd one out? (Hint: think of their powers and outfits.)

Answer: Kunzite (Shitennou)

This is another tough one. JunJun, Petz and Tellu are all evil counterparts of Sailor Jupiter. Kunzite isn't, though he was paired with Sailor Venus in an artwork by Naoko Takeuchi (although the pairing was never canon). The Amazoness Quartetto (Dream arc), Ayakashi Sisters (Black Moon arc) and Witches Five (Infinity arc) all act as evil counterparts to the Sailor Senshi, though the Amazoness Quartetto switch sides when it is revealed that they are actually sailor senshi themselves and will become Sailor Chibi Moon's guardians.

Tellu and Jupiter share an affinity with plants, while Petz also has lightning-based powers. JunJun becomes Sailor Juno - Juno was Jupiter's consort in Roman mythology - and is the physically strongest of the Amazoness Quartetto. All of them, like Sailor Jupiter, wear green.
