Which companion sang to which wind?

Answer: Aragorn-West, Legolas-South, Aragorn-North

Gimli was left the East Wind but he would not sing of it. Aragorn agreed this was a wise choice because Boromir was from Minas Tirith and, "In Minas Tirith they endure the East Wind, but they do not ask it for tidings."
2. After meeting with Eomer and his riders, Aragorn, Legolas and Gimli came upon an open glade among the trees where the Orcs had been piled and burned. In the middle stood what thing branded by the white hand of Isengard?

Answer: A goblin's head upon a pike

"Upon a stake in the middle was set a great goblin head; upon its shattered helm the white badge could still be seen."

Answer: Elven Brooch

When under the capture of Orcs, Pippin broke away from the brigade and dropped his elven brooch so that if Aragorn were to come upon he would know that Pippin or Merry had been there. Aragorn, having been tracking the two Hobbits, found it and kept it so that he might return it one day.
10. What thing of Samwise's did he forget he had in Emyn Muil, until reminded?

Answer: Elvish rope

Sam had forgotten to get rope when in Rivendell and had worried that there would come a time when he would need it. The elves of Lothlórien had stored lengths of rope in the boats given to the Fellowship. It was one of these that Sam put in his pack before leaving the Fellowship behind.

He, however, had forgotten about it until Frodo mentioned needing a rope while he was trapped on a ledge, in the rain. Sam used the rope to pull Frodo and, after the rain had stopped, help them both down. Sam was extraordinarily pleased when he found that the rope, being tied to a tree stump on top of the ledge, came undone at his will.
