Field's character shows incredible strength, when she sits by her daughter's side when her life support is stopped.
10. (1996) When her daughter is raped and killed, Karen McCann, played by Sally Field, is devastated. But when the killer, played by Kiefer Sutherland, gets off on a technicality, she is enraged. It takes time, preparation and a lot of careful planning, but she finally manages to maneuver him into a position where she can exact her revenge, without having to go to jail herself.
