Bibble is a puffball and accompanies Elina everywhere she goes. Bibble is a furry little flying creature and is blue with pink spots and pink hair. While Elina can understand what Bibble is saying, his manner of speaking is rather unintelligible in English, though it is possible to make out some words.

Each region of Fairytopia has a guardian which represents one of the colors of the rainbow. It is the guardians' job to look after the citizens of Fairytopia and to protect against any evil. Topaz is a yellowish-orange and has been kidnapped by Laverna. When she comes up missing, Elina decides to go to Azura for help.

Elina gets teased by many of the other fairies because she doesn't have wings and has to walk everywhere she goes. This comes to her advantage because Laverna has released a gas to make the fairies sick and incapable of flying. Since Elena is accustomed to walking and does not have wings, she is unaffected by Laverna's evil.

At the end of the movie, the Enchantress rewards her with a set of wings to show her gratitude for all that Elina did to save Fairytopia.

Peony is a pink flower and takes good care of Elina. Peony is alive herself and becomes sick after Laverna releases her poisonous gas. After Peony becomes sick, Elina sets off to talk to Azura about what has been happening in the Magic Meadow, unaware that the evil gas has been spread throughout all of Fairytopia and that the guardians are in danger.

Laverna and the Enchantress are twins, but Laverna is jealous of her sister. Laverna has a plot to attain all the power of the guardians for herself and become ruler of Fairytopia. She puts a spell on her sister and kidnaps the guardians. It is Elina who comes to the rescue and ruins her plans.

Answer: Prince Nalu

Prince Nalu is captured by Laverna's henchmen the Fungus because he knows where the Immunity Berry is located. He sends word to Elina through a sea-butterfly that he is in trouble and needs help. Elina eats the magic seaweed to help her breathe underwater and she heads into Mermaidia.

There she meets Nori, a mermaid who is a friend of Prince Nalu, and together they set out to rescue Prince Nalu.

Max is the one who does most of Laverna's dirty work. It is he who, along with a couple of other Fungus, kidnaps Prince Nalu and reports back to Laverna. Elina always gets in the way of the mission of the Fungus and Max usually takes the brunt of Laverna's furry for this.

Laverna eats what she thinks is the Immunity Berry and she is transformed. She looks into a mirror to see how she looks and sees that she has been turned into a frog! She is rather upset with Max and the other Fungus for not bringing her the right berry and because she has now been turned into a frog.

Answer: Fairytopia will be plunged into ten years of winter.

The first blush of spring releases the rainbow and all its magic so that Fairytopia will not have to endure the winter. If the "Flight of Spring" is not performed, then it will begin to snow and all of Fairytopia will have to endure ten years of winter. Laverna's plot is to stop the "Flight of Spring" and take over control of Fairytopia.

Answer: Sunburst

Sunburst and Elina do not get along from the very beginning. Sunburst seems to be jealous of Elina's reputation and they are constantly in competition during their classes. Sunburst is a sparkle fairy and once Laverna escapes, she hides the real Sunburst in a magic bubble under the water because she knows that water will make a sparkle fairy lose all his or her powers. Elina discovers that Laverna is in disguise as Sunburst and once again manages to save Fairytopia with the help of the other apprentices.
