Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Braun Kobi lee

Answer: bronco billy

"Bronco Billy" (1980) was directed by Eastwood. The story centered around his failing Wild West show. Not one of Clint's more memorable movies but he was able to bring his girlfriend, Sondra Locke, in to be his co-star.
2. Hay fizz fuel loved awl errs

Answer: a fistful of dollars

"A Fistful of Dollars" (1964) was the first of the Sergio Leone spaghetti western trilogy starring Eastwood. The "Man With No Name" plays the middle between two warring families. Mayhem results! Accompanied by the haunting music of Ennio Morricone, this movie began the spaghetti western genre.
3. Pail rye door

Answer: pale rider

"Pale Rider" (1985) can be considered a later version of the "Man With No Name." This time he is simply known as "Preacher." He comes out of nowhere to save a group of gold prospectors and is haunted by his mysterious past. As the movie ends, Sydney Penny as Megan Wheeler, utters the infamous line "Preacher, I love you" as he disappears in the distance.
4. Dee how tall awe Joe see whales

Answer: the outlaw josey wales

"The Outlaw Josey Wales" (1976) is Eastwood's own favorite movie he has done. The film is full of memorable quotes like "Are you going to pull those pistols or whistle Dixie?" Chief Dan George plays a whimsical Chief. Sandra Locke makes her first of many appearances in Clint's subsequent films. Will Sampson has a powerful performance as Chief Ten Bears.
5. Dug hood dub had Andy hug lee

Answer: the good the bad and the ugly

"The Good, the Bad and the Ugly" (1966) was the last of the trilogy although it was actually released in the United States before "For a Few Dollars More." A true western epic, this movie is one of the most popular of all westerns. With its sweeping filmography and incredible Morricone music, the movie blends together the story of three men all trying to find a hidden cache of gold.

The final shoot out is noted by many critics as the most dramatic and finest ever filmed.
6. Foe rah feud awl lairs moor

Answer: for a few dollars more

"For a Few Dollars More" (1965), although the second Leone spaghetti western filmed, wasn't released until 1967, after "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly" had already been in theaters. Lee Van Cleef plays a good guy in this film and forms a testy relationship with Clint. Gian Maria Volonte, as in "A Fistful of Dollars," once again is the villain, this time as "Indio."
7. Tomb yules forces terse era

Answer: two mules for sister sara

"Two Mules for Sister Sara" (1970) has Clint saving, of all things, a nun. Shirley MacLaine plays Sister Sara, supposedly a nun who has a penchant for smoking cigars and drinking whiskey. Eastwood is the rescuing soldier of fortune and the role is similar to the "Man with No Name" genre also he actually has a name in this one, Hogan.
8. Hi pea lanes deer if tore

Answer: high plains drifter

"High Plains Drifter" (1973) is the story of a mysterious and ghostly stranger (now that is a surprise, isn't it?) arriving in the town of Lago. The movie was filmed at Mono Lake, California. At the end of the movie, it is revealed that the stranger is actually the ghost of a sheriff that was murdered by a gang of killers. Of course, Clint gets his revenge by wiping them out!
9. None fore gibbon

Answer: unforgiven

"Unforgiven" (1992) provided a multitude of academy awards for Clint's trophy case. The movie won Best Picture and Best Director awards for Eastwood. Gene Hackman won Best Supporting Actor and the film also received a Best Film Editing award.
10. Joke id

Answer: joe kidd

"Joe Kidd" (1972) has Clint playing an (hold your breath!) ex-bounty hunter! Robert Duvall portrays Frank Harlan, a land grabber. Basic plot is Clint rescues the Mexican farmers and takes care of Harlan at the end. One highlight is Clint taking over a train and ramming it through a saloon, with guns blazing.
