Answer: Shrek the Ogre

Voiced by Mike Myers, Shrek is a big, lovable green guy. Both movies were excellent. "Shrek" and "Shrek 2" are great movies for both adults and children.
Mike Myers did a wonderful job voicing Shrek. He was Wayne Campbell in "Wayne's World" and "Wayne's World 2" and was also on "Saturday Night Live".
Shrek: "Look at him, in his wee little boots". I love this line!

Answer: Fiona

Voiced by Cameron Diaz, Fiona is Shrek's true love. I loved it when she punched out the mermaid. Fiona was a human princess who was under a curse that turned her into an ogress at night. When she found her one true love, she became an ogress all of the time. Her father, King Harold, was not happy about this at all.
Cameron first starred in "The Mask" with Jim Carrey and went on to star in several movies. Some of my favorites are "My Best Friend's Wedding" with Julia Roberts, and both "Charlie's Angels" and "Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle" with Drew Barrymore and Lucy Liu.
Fiona: "That's not my husband". She ought to know!

Answer: Donkey

Voiced by the incredibly funny Eddie Murphy, Donkey is my daughter's favorite character (and mine). His feeling of being upstaged by Puss in Boots was hilarious.
Eddie Murphy is an accomplished actor who started out as a stand-up comedian. A few of my favorite movies, starring Eddie, are "Coming To America", "The Nutty Professor", "The Nutty Professor 2: The Klumps", "Doctor Dolittle" and "The Haunted Mansion".
Shrek: "Donkey. You're a..."
Donkey: "Stallion baby!"

Answer: Puss in Boots

Voiced by Antonio Banderas, Puss in Boots was a great character addition to this movie. The banter between Donkey and Puss is priceless.
Antonio Banderas is a wonderful comedic and dramatic actor. He has been in the "Spy Kids" trilogy, "The Mask of Zorro" with Catharine Zeta-Jones, and "Assassins" with Sylvester Stallone. He married Melanie Griffith in 1996.
Fiona: "Shrek?"
Puss: "For you baby, I could be."

Answer: Fairy Godmother

Voiced by Jennifer Saunders, Godmother is in fact the film's villainess. We've come to believe this is rather uncharacteristic of a Fairy Godmother, haven't we? Though not what we are used to, this character was funny.
Jennifer Saunders is the writer, creator, and co-star of the BBC comedy series "Absolutely Fabulous". Jennifer married fellow comedian Adrian Edmondson in 1985. They have three daughters.
Godmother: "I'm just a tear drop away".

Answer: Prince Charming

This prince is voiced by Rupert Everett. Can you say "complete Mama's boy"? Charming wasn't exactly standing on his own two feet. Getting a "Medieval Meal" was pretty cool, though.
Rupert Everett was born in Norfolk, England in 1959. He has been in several comedies such as "Dunston Checks In", "My Best Friend's Wedding" and "Inspector Gadget". He is an incredible dramatic actor as well. He can also be seen in "The Next Best Thing" with Madonna, and "To Kill A King", which is a period drama.

Answer: Gingerbread Man

Gingerbread Man was voiced by Conrad Vernon, and is such an interesting little cookie. I was glad to see him back in "Shrek 2". Now, he's gone and become a spokesman for Wal-Mart! Go figure!
Conrad Vernon is a voice-over actor, director and storyboard artist. In addition to "Shrek" and "Shrek 2", he has also worked on "Morto the Magician" and "Rocko's Modern Life".

Answer: Mongo

Also voiced by Conrad Vernon. Mongo is the gentle giant cookie. My little one cried when they drowned him in the milk. It was rather mean. However, he served his purpose well.
Conrad Vernon also provided the voice for the character Jed in "Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas".
You can hear Gingerbread Man, Shrek, Fiona, Donkey and others from "Shrek" in the ride Shrek 4D at Universal Studios.

Answer: King Harold

Voiced by John Cleese, Harold wasn't a bad guy. He only wanted the best for Fiona, but he was so wrapped up in keeping his secret that he didn't realize Shrek was the best for her, until it was almost too late. He may have ended up a frog but the Queen loved him anyway.
John Cleese has had a long-running movie career. He is well known for "Monty Python" and "Fawlty Towers". He has been in numerous movies including "A Fish Called Wanda", "Rat Race", and two "Harry Potter" films.

Answer: Kingdom of Far Far Away

Far, far away is the place where Fiona grew up, and where the story was mainly set. Do you remember the entries in Fiona's diary - "Mrs. Fiona Charming". I think she'll settle for being Mrs. Ogre now, don't you?
