1. Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937)

This 1937 animated musical fantasy was based on the German fairy tale by the Brothers Grimm. It was the first full length animated feature film. Many regard this as one of Walt Disney's greatest films. The story is of a lonely princess (Snow White) who lives with her wicked stepmother who is a Queen.
The Queen is jealous of Snow White's beauty and has her sent to forest to be killed. The huntsman cannot kill her and lets her go and, while wandering through the forest, she comes across a small cottage belonging to seven adult dwarfs.
The Queen eventually casts a spell on Snow White and she falls from a cliff and is unconscious. However, Prince Charming kisses her and breaks the spell and they all re-choice as the Prince takes her to his castle.

"City Lights" (1931) is a romantic comedy and silent movie which Charlie Chaplin wrote, directed and was the star of. In the movie he is destitute and homeless and buys a flower off the flower girl (Virginia Cherrill), not realising she is blind. She mistakes him for a wealthy person.
He befriends a millionaire (Harry Meyers) who gives him $1,000 which he gives to the girl for surgery to recover her sight. He is jailed because it is assumed he stole that much money from the millionaire. On release from jail she still mistakes the tramp for the millionaire but only realises her mistake once her sight is restored.
3. Raging Bull (1980)

"Raging Bull" was an American sports drama and is based on the story of the boxer Jake LaMotta, the Italian American World Middleweight Champion. During his boxing days LaMotta was nicknamed The Bronx Bull and the Raging Bull mainly due to his style of boxing. Robert De Niro played the role of Jake LaMotta in the movie which was nominated for eight Academy Awards.
The movie was successful in winning two awards, with one being Best Actor for Robert De Niro.

He is hired as a private detective by a friend, to follow his wife who is acting very strange. Barbara Bel Geddes (better known as Miss Ellie Ewing in the TV Series "Dallas") plays the role of Stewart's ex-fiancee and friend in the movie.
