1. At the very beginning of the movie, Jane Foster, Darcy Lewis, and Dr. Erik Selvig are chasing after an atmospheric phenomenon. Jane and Darcy are fighting over the steering wheel of the research van, and hit someone. What does Darcy say to Jane, after she gets out to check out who was hit?

Answer: "I think that was legally your fault."

Darcy tells Jane she doesn't want to die for a mere six college credits, and attempts to steer away from the atmospherics they are chasing. Jane steers them further into it, and ends up hitting Thor with the van. Darcy tells Jane that it was her fault, and Jane pleads for Thor to not be dead.

2. There is a brief flashback scene on Asgard when Thor and Loki are boys. When Odin tells the boys that one of them will become king of Asgard, Thor tells Odin that he will hunt down the Frost Giants when he becomes king. Odin replies, "A wise king never seeks out war, but must always ___________." Finish Odin's statement.

Answer: be ready for it

Odin had learned from years of leadership how to be a benevolent king. He knows that war was an inevitable part of being king, but that it must never be something to look for. He tells this to Thor, but it doesn't take. Thor goes to Jotunheim, the home world of the Frost Giants, to seek vengeance on them for breaking into Asgard's vault. Odin finds out about Thor's plan, goes to Jotunheim, and takes Thor back to Asgard.

After an argument, Odin realizes that Thor isn't worthy of the Asgardian throne, and banishes him to Earth.

3. After hitting Thor with the research van, Jane takes Thor to the local hospital. When the nurses ask her what happened, Darcy tells them that Jane hit him with a car. Jane tells them, "I grazed him, but she 'tazed (tasered) him." How did Darcy respond?

Answer: "Yes, I did."

Darcy willingly admits that she used the taser on Thor, which is played rather humorously by Kat Dennings. Although a part of Jane's research team, Darcy is more comic relief than scientist. She often doesn't know what's being discussed, or what she's doing for Jane, and plays it off by being funny.

In fact, we find out that she's a political science major, and the only applicant for Jane's study.

4. Thor's hammer Mjolnir is cast to Earth by Odin, so Thor would find out that he is no longer worthy to wield its power. Several people attempt to pull Mjolnir out of the ground by various methods. One of them is Marvel's creator, Stan Lee, who makes his cameo appearance in this scene. After attaching a chain to Mjolnir, Stan attempts to pull it out with his truck. When the truck bed is completely pulled off of the frame, what does Stan say?

Answer: "Did it work?"

Stan Lee makes cameo appearances in each MCU movie until "Avengers: Endgame". His appearance in "Thor" is in this scene. After Stan's failed attempt, Agent Coulson of S.H.I.E.L.D is seen pulling up to the site and calling a supervisor (presumably Nick Fury) and saying, "Sir, we found it." Shield takes over, and builds a secure perimeter around Mjolnir.

5. Jane and Darcy take Thor to a local diner because he needs food. Jane asks Thor, "How'd you get inside that cloud?" Someone then asks Thor, "Also, how could you eat an entire box of Pop Tarts and still be this hungry?" Who asks Thor this?

Answer: Darcy

Being from Asgard, Thor is able to eat a considerable amount more than any human. As he's eating, he hears of Mjolnir being 50 miles to the west, and initially parts ways with Jane, Darcy, and Erik to go and claim it. When they return to the lab, Jane finds S.H.I.E.L.D taking their research.

She goes to Thor to find the answers she is after, since her work was taken. She and Thor go to the site of Mjolnir's landing, and Thor finds out that he cannot lift Mjolnir. He's taken into custody by S.H.I.E.L.D, and Jane contacts Erik to let him know that they went to the site against his wishes.

6. As Thor attempts to break into S.H.I.E.L.D's perimeter around Mjolnir, we meet a future member of the Avengers for the first time. They ask Coulson, "You want me to slow him down sir, or are you sending in more guys for him to beat up?" Which future teammate of Thor's says this line?

Answer: Hawkeye

Clint Barton is known for his excellent vision and skills with a bow and arrow. He positions himself high enough to have an angle on Thor, and asks Coulson this question when asked for an update. Near the end of Thor's break-in attempt, Hawkeye also says to Coulson, "You'd better call it, Coulson, 'cause I'm starting to root for this guy." He's never given an order to shoot Thor, but instead, Coulson allows Thor to reach Mjolnir and attempt to lift it. Thor realizes he can't, and gives up, allowing himself to be taken into custody.

7. After breaking Thor out of S.H.I.E.L.D custody, Erik Selvig takes Thor to a bar to get a drink. He tells Thor he's concerned for Jane, because of how she feels about him. When Thor says he means no harm to Jane, Erik says, "Good. In that case, I'll buy you another round, and you leave town tonight." Does Thor agree to leave town?

Answer: Yes

Erik orders two boilermakers after Thor agrees to leave town that night. Their drinking together becomes too much for Erik to handle, and Thor takes him back to Jane's camper to rest. Thor does not leave town, but instead, takes the time alone with Jane to answer her questions about what she's been studying.

8. Loki goes to Jotunheim to talk with King Laufey, to offer him a chance at revenge against Odin. Before Loki says anything, Laufey says to his soldiers, "Kill him." How does Loki reply?

Answer: "After all I've done for you?"

Loki offers Laufey the chance to kill Odin for him, and in exchange, Loki would return the Jotunheim casket that was stolen by Odin during their first battle. Laufey agrees, not realizing that Loki has a far more devious plan in mind.

9. Thor's four closest friends from Asgard travel to Earth to convince Thor to return. Hogun, Volstagg, Fandral, and Lady Sif make it to Earth, and search for Thor through the streets of New Mexico. S.H.I.E.L.D agents see them coming, and one of the agents contacts headquarters about the newcomers. "Base, we've got Xena, Jackie Chan, and ________." Finish the quote spoken by the agent that calls it in.

Answer: Robin Hood

Hogun is played by Japanese actor Asano Tadanobu, which is where the S.H.I.E.L.D agent got the name Jackie Chan. The way Asgardians dress looks like something from fantasy video games and stories, which contributed to them calling Sif "Xena" (after the Warrior Princess), and Fandral after Robin Hood. Eventually, the four meet up with Thor and help Thor clear the town of civilians to make sure they are safe from Loki's attack with the Destroyer.

10. After Thor is willing to sacrifice himself for Earth, he regains his powers and Mjolnir returns to him. He then uses it to defeat the Destroyer under Loki's control. After defeating the Destroyer, Jane asks Thor, "Is this how you normally look?" Thor responds, "More or less." Jane responds, "It's a good look."

Answer: True

Along with getting Mjolnir back, Thor also regains all of the armor and clothing that he had before his banishment to Earth. Thor returns to Asgard to fix what Loki has done, and saves the people of Jotunheim from complete destruction. He does this by destroying the Bifrost, which means he is unable to return to Earth to see Jane.

At the end of the movie, Thor asks Heimdall the gatekeeper, how Jane is, and Heimdall replies, "She searches for you." The two reunite in "Thor: The Dark World".
