The Mighty "Thor" Trivia Quiz

Thor tells Jane he can help her with all of her questions about him and his world. He explains to her the nine realms and the Bifrost Bridge, when sitting atop a rooftop with her. Being a scientist, Jane believes the bridge must be a theoretical Einstein-Rosen Bridge wormhole, not magic.

Answer: Sif

Volstagg, Fandral, and Hogun are the names of the Warriors Three, who are also friends of Thor. Sif is also a warrior and Thor's childhood friend, but she is the only woman. She is very talented and skilled as a warrior and can stand on her own in a fight. She is also very loyal to Thor.

During the movie, Thor tells Sif, "And who proved wrong all who scoffed at the idea that a young maiden could be one of the fiercest warriors this realm has ever known?" To which she responded, "I did!" He responds, "True, but I supported you, Sif."

Answer: "... and a fool!"

When the Frost Giants sneak into Asgard, Thor wants to make an attack back. Odin tells him no. Thor then goes behind his father's back and travels to Jotunheim for retaliation, with his four friends and brother Loki. When he returns, Odin is upset and banishes him to Earth until he learns better.

She hits him with her car two times.
The first time Jane hits Thor with her van is when they are searching for a phenomena in space. They find themselves trapped in a large, tornado-like storm, unable to see where they are going, and do not see Thor until they hit him.

The second time Jane hits him with her van is outside the hospital. Thor escapes from his room, and they try to find him. Turns out, he is only right in front of the hospital.

Answer: Loki

Loki tells this to Odin, who had him believe he was Loki's father. Loki believes himself to be cursed, because his skin turns blue at times, just like a Frost Giant's skin. Odin reveals he took Loki, from the Frost Giants, when he was a baby. He wanted to bring peace and alliance between Asgard and Jotunheim, but Loki thinks he was being used.

Loki is the adoptive brother of Thor in Norse mythology, and a super-villain in the Marvel Comics. Loki is very well trained in magic, and has the ability of teleportation.

Answer: Darcy

Darcy is in college, and works with her co-workers, Jane and Erik, more as their intern/assistant.

She doesn't really understand what Jane and Erik, Jane's mentor, are studying, because she is not a Science major, but a Political Science major (which are two separate, very different things.)

Thor says this when fighting with a large SHIELD agent, referring to the fact he has fought bigger opponents, like the Frost Giants. He tries to sneak into a SHIELD operation that is studying his hammer, Mjolnir, that landed on Earth when he was banished. He wants to retrieve his hammer, to return home to Asgard.

Thor is the God of Thunder in Norse mythology, capable of great power.

Answer: "little princess."

When Thor and his crew enter Jotunheim, behind Odin's back, they eventually meet up with its King, Laufey. King Laufey tells the Thor they should go back home and not battle with the Frost Giants. He also mentions that Asgard's kingdom houses some traitors. Thor is upset at his words, but his brother, Loki, restrains him and leads him home until Thor gets taunted.

Answer: "... be ready for it."

At the beginning of the film, when Thor and Loki are young boys, Odin talks to them about Asgard. A young, feisty Thor states, "When I am king, I'll hunt the monsters down and slay them all! Just as you did, Father," to which Odin responded with this quote.

Answer: Heimdall

The last lines of the film, before the clip after the credits, are between Thor and the gatekeeper Heimdall. They stand at the edge of where the Bifrost Bridge once was, staring down at Earth. Thor then asks, "Can you see her?" referring to Jane. Heimdall answers, "Yes... She searches for you."

Heimdall is the 'all-seeing, all-hearing" guard of the Bifrost bridge in Asgard.
