Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Who told the students, "You'll be learning about defensive spells in a secure, risk-free way."?

Answer: Dolores Umbridge

Dolores Umbridge taught at Hogwarts but developed a strict curriculum most students hated. In one class setting, she informed the students of how she would conduct learning exercises, as in exercising too much precaution when learning about spells. Harry shouted out how useless it would be to not practice spells since that practice would come in handy should a student become attacked.
2. Fill in the blank: "Oh, I don't know. Maybe Lord ______." - Harry Potter

Answer: Voldemort

Harry continued to argue with Professor Umbridge's take on teaching classes from a more theoretical framework, in hopes that model would help the students pass their examinations. Harry said theory could not help them face down any enemies so Professor Umbridge asked Harry who in his/her right mind would attack children. That was when he reminded her Lord Voldemort posed that risk.
3. Who said to Harry, "In these lessons, I will attempt to penetrate your mind."?

Answer: Severus Snape

Harry visited Professor Snape, in one scene where they had a serious talk about Professor Snape using a spell to glean a memory from Harry's mind. When Professor Snape did this, he advised Harry to focus while Harry looked pained. During the spell, the memory of Lord Voldemort appeared in Harry's head.
4. Who said, "He never was very pleasant, even when I was a little boy."?

Answer: Sirius Black

Harry was at the home of his godfather, Sirius Black, when his servant, named Kreacher, belittled Harry. Sirius yelled at him before sending him away so he could speak to Harry alone. Sirius mentioned Kreacher never was friendly.
5. Who asked, "This is top-secret, right?"?

Answer: Rubeus Hagrid

Rubeus had a meeting at his home with Harry, Ron and Hermione when he asked them to ensure everything said between them would be private. The three agreed so Rubeus discussed with them issues affecting Hogwarts. Shortly after this, a huge storm resulted outside.
6. Albus Dumbledore claimed, "I instructed Harry to form this organization."

Answer: True

To counter Professor Umbridge's tedious curriculum, Hermione told Harry he should form an organization for the students to practice magic in a private setting. In one scene, though, Professor Umbridge caught them red handed perfecting their spells. Once Harry attempted to claim he thought up the organization, Dumbeldore stepped in and claimed to have given Harry the idea to form the organization, so Harry would not get into trouble.
7. Who said, "Hagrid, do something", once Hagrid's brother grabbed Hermione?

Answer: Ron Weasley

In one scene Harry, Ron and Hermione were with Hagrid when his oversized brother arrived. He picked up Hermione, so Ron told Hagrid he had to do something to get his brother to let Hermione go. Eventually, Hermione was released with Harry, Ron and Hermione also understanding why Hagrid was very protective of his brother.
8. "I'm afraid you have used up all my stores interrogating students," was said by which Hogwarts professor?

Answer: Severus Snape

Professor Umbridge caught Harry, Ron and Hermione snooping through her office to try to use the Floo Network so she had other students restrain them. Professor Snape arrived so she asked him if he brought her truth serum. Professor Snape advised her he ran out of everything she needed to conduct such an interrogation.
9. Who told Professor Umbridge, "I am merely requesting that, when it comes to my students, you conform to the prescribed disciplinary practices."?

Answer: Minerva McGonagall

Professor Umbridge assigned Harry to detention in her office and utilized harsh discipline on him there. Professor McGonagall confronted her about it and asked her to only inflict authorized punishment on the students. Professor Umbridge took Professor McGonagall's criticism as an affront to the Ministry.
10. Who cried, "Sixteen years I've lived and taught here!"?

Answer: Sybill Trelawney

Early on in the film, Sybill received notice that Professor Umbridge would be terminating her position as a Professor at Hogwarts. She snapped at Professor Umbridge, since she'd spent many years teaching there and could not believe she would let her go. Professor Umbridge stood by her decision while Professor McGonagall comforted Professor Trelawney.
