The Phantom was giving Christine the choices that she had, and was singing the melody of 'Past of the Point of No Return' and Christine was singing to the Phantom to not make her choose and she was singing to the melody of 'Angel of Music'.

When Mme Giry was leading the two new managers around the ballet, they started to enquire about the ballerinas. They asked about Meg first, and then Christine. Mme Giry told them who she was. Andre then asked if she was any relation to the Swedish violinist, to which she replied, 'His only child.'

His instruction to the managers was that they both belonged in an office, and not producing operas in his opera house.

'Prima Donna' was the song that Andre and Firmin sang to Carlotta to persuade her to perform. They began to give her gifts to tempt her. Some gifts she accepted, but most of the them were rejected. However a gold necklace and a black dog won her over.

Meg said 'It's the Phantom of the Opera.' followed by Christine saying, 'It's him.' Carlotta heard Christine speak and said to her, 'Your part is silent, little toad.'
