In the Mandrakis house, they have automatic lights, their own pond, beautiful tiling, huge closets and a guest house, so you can see why they are so rich. The house is amazing!

Tiffany is banging on the door until Jill opens it, but no one is there. When Tiffany is banging on the door, the stranger has his hand clamped over her mouth so she cannot scream. Then, just before Jill is going to answer, the stranger drags Tiffany away around the house.

Earlier in the movie Jill explores the house a bit, and goes into Mr. and Mrs. Mandrakis' bedroom. She plays a bit with the automatic lights, and then goes into their bathroom. She opens Mrs. Mandrakis' closet, and there is a look of amazement on her face.

She admires a dress, and puts it on. Next she goes to the accessories drawer, and puts on some rings and a necklace. Then Jill says to the mirror: "Oh thank you, I just bought them." Then she hears a bang of a door closing in another room, so she quickly puts the rings and the dress back and runs back to her reading couch. Later in the movie she is on the phone to Scarlet, her best friend. Jill says to Scarlet: "Her closet, it's bigger than my bedroom!" Scarlet seems to like the sound of that because she laughs a bit on the other end of the line.

Near the end of the movie, the stranger has finally got his hands on Jill, and puts his hands around her neck and tries to strangle her to death. At the start of the movie when Stacey the babysitter and some children are killed, they weren't killed by strangling.

When you strangle someone, blood doesn't come out. So, the next morning some officers bring out a couple of garbage bags with blood stains on them. We don't know how he kills them, because an officer says there is no weapon.

When Jill goes up to the children's room to check on them for the second time, they are not in their beds. Jill looks around and sees a piece of dressing gown hanging out of the toy box. She goes over to the toy box and opens it and there are the children inside, crying. Jill then says to the children: "Stay here." and then looks around the room.

She looks sideways, and then she looks up. There crouched down on the rafters is the stranger. Run, Jill!

When Jill hides under the bridge to get away from the stranger, she puts her head under water and sees Rosa, the housekeeper, dead, held down by a big rock. The stranger has killed two people that night. Tiffany and Rosa. Tiffany has been Jill's ex-best friend since she kissed her boyfriend, but they have only just mended their friendship and Tiffany gets strangled. Rosa is the housekeeper, and dies by drowning.
