Answer: Gibson

On most of B.B.'s early recordings he played a Fender Stratocaster. But "Lucille" was a Gibson ES-355 and that would become B.B.'s favored brand of guitar. Gibson even issued a limited run of "Lucilles" for public purchase.
2. What was B.B.'s real first name?

Answer: Riley

B.B.'s full name was Riley Ben King. In a 2011 list of the 100 greatest guitarists of all time "Rolling Stone Magazine" placed him at number six.
3. In what year was B.B. inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame?

Answer: 1987

B.B. was inducted with such music legends as Roy Orbison, Eddie Cochran and Hank Williams. The Hall opened in 1986 in Cleveland Ohio.

"Riding With The King" topped the "Billboard Top Blues Albums" charts in 2000 and went two time double platinum in sales. It also won a Grammy that year for "Best Traditional Blues Album".

Answer: Albert and Freddie

It's natural that their common last name would give birth to "The Three Kings" distinction, but they never actually performed or recorded together. Freddie King passed away in 1976 at the age of 42. Albert King passed away in 1992 at the age of 69 and B.B. passed away in May 0f 2015.
9. In 2008 The B.B. King Museum and Delta Interpretive Center opened. In what state is this museum located?

Answer: Mississippi

The museum opened on September 13, 2008 in Indianola, Mississippi. It uses state of the art video and audio to guide tourists through B.B.'s life as well as exploring the history of the blues and of Delta life.
10. How old was B.B. when he passed away?

Answer: 89

B.B. died on May 14, 2015 in Las Vegas due to complications resulting from high blood pressure and diabetes. He had announced on his website at the beginning of May that he was on home hospice care after being hospitalized twice.
