He rejoined Van Halen in 2012 to record the album "A Different Kind of Truth".

It was of course Ozzy. When he was sacked from Black Sabbath in 1978. Their manager Don Arden gave Ozzy's contract to his daughter Sharon Arden, who not only turned him into a major star, but also married him.

Dio, Gillan and Halford all sang with Black Sabbath at various times after Ozzy's departure, until Ozzy rejoined the band in 2013 for a final album and farewell tour.

Ted Nugent began his career in the band Amboy Dukes in the late 60's and was also a member of supergroup Damn Yankees in the late 80s/early 90s along with members of Styx, Night Ranger and Lynyrd Skynyrd.

Ted is also well-known as an enthusiastic hunter and a long-time member of the board of the National Rifle Association.

When Nirvana split up after the death of Kurt Cobain in 1994 Dave Grohl formed the band 'Foo Fighters', taking the name from the nick-name given to UFO's by United States Air Force pilots.

When Peter Gabriel quit Genesis for a successful solo career in 1975, they auditioned hundreds of potential singers but none proved suitable, so their drummer Phil Collins took over instead. Bruce Dickinson quit Iron Maiden in 1993 for a string of other projects, including solo albums, qualifying as an airline pilot, becoming a champion fencer and a film producer. He rejoined the band in 1999 and now flies them around on tour in their own personal Jumbo Jet.
