Answer: Jeff Lynne

Along with Tom, Jeff was one of the Travelling Wilburys. In my opinion a classic album with not any bad tracks on it. The recording was done at M.C. Studios in Los Angeles, CA. Although a solo album most of The Heartbreakers appeared on it.

As well as vocals Tom is credited with various instruments on some albums but his first choice of instrument is his guitar. He will normally play a Rickenbacker guitar.

Answer: Gainesville, Florida

Tom was born on 20th October 1950 at Gainesville, Florida. He apparently met Elvis in 1960 which spawned his interest in Rock and Roll music.
4. One of Tom's most famous songs is 'American Girl'; which album was it first released on?

Answer: Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers

His eponymous album was his first which was released on 9th November 1976. It was recorded at The Shelter Studio in Hollywood, CA. and produced by Denny Cordell.

Answer: Axl Rose

Axl Rose is the vocalist with Guns 'n' Roses.In my opinion a dynamic appearance by Rose which really complimented Tom's style. Well worth checking out on Youtube.

Thomas Earl Petty was his birth name. For a short while Tom worked at the University of Florida at Gainesville, Florida, where you will find an ogeechee lime known as the "Tom Petty Tree" because Tom planted it while he was employed there.

Just two studio albums were released, 'Travelling Wiburys Vol 1' and 'Travelling Wilburys Vol 3'. I wonder what happened to Vol II?

Ramones and Talking Heads were also inducted in 2002. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Museum is at Cleveland, Ohio. The first induction was in January 1986 at The Waldorf-Astoria Hotel, New York.

Answer: Bob Dylan

Bob Dylan was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1988. Also inducted that year were The Beach Boys, Berry Gordie Jnr, The Beatles, Leadbelly, The Drifters, Woody Guthrie, Les Paul and The Supremes.

Answer: The Royal Albert Hall

The Royal Albert Hall was opened in 1871, ten years after the death of Prince Albert who envisioned a hall to promote understanding and appreciation of the Arts and Sciences. It is opposite the Albert Memorial on the edge of Hyde Park. Prince Albert was the consort of Queen Victoria.
