Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Which single did Muse open the majority of their sets with during the "Showbiz" tour?

Answer: Uno

For most of the "Showbiz" tour, Muse opened with "Uno", and closed with the song, "Showbiz". They occasionally started with "Overdue", but with its heavy intro and opportunity for improvisation, "Uno" was their preferred opener.
2. Which single did Muse close most of their sets with in the "Origin of Symmetry" tour?

Answer: Bliss

Muse's trademark "Hullaballoons" were routinely released during "Bliss" in the "Origin of Symmetry" tour. Later on, Muse occasionally released them during "Plug in Baby", and on one occasion they were released during "Knights of Cydonia", to the surprise of many Muse fans.
3. An instrumental version of which song, from Muse's "Absolution" album, was played at the 2002 Leeds Festival?

Answer: Falling Away With You

Matt Bellamy claimed that the studio recording of "Falling Away With You" was too beautiful to be given justice live, although they may play it one day. An instrumental version of the song was played at the Leeds Festival in 2002.
4. An instrumental outro from which song sometimes followed "Knights of Cydonia" during the "Black Holes and Revelations" tour?

Answer: Space Dementia

"Maggie's Farm" was used as an outro for "Map of the Problematique", and an "Ashamed" riff sometimes followed "Newborn" and occasionally "Showbiz". "Burning Bridges" was played between songs in the tour, often after "Starlight".
5. On the "Hullabaloo" Tour DVD, which song was played before "Unintended"?

Answer: Agitated

A short and fast song, "Agitated" acted as an outro for the higher profile, "Hyper Music". "Unintended" was played after the encore, as Matt exclaimed they hadn't played it for ages.
6. What was the second song played when Muse headlined the Glastonbury Festival in 2004?

Answer: New Born

"Hysteria" was the first song played that night. It was followed by great performances of "Muscle Museum", "Citizen Erased", "Butterflies and Hurricanes" and "Stockholm Syndrome" to name a few.

The band considered the gig to be their best at the time, but unfortunately Dom's dad died of a heart attack, shortly after watching them.
7. What colour suit did Matt Bellamy wear on the first of the two "Earls Court" gigs in December 2004?

Answer: Red

The two Earl's Court gigs provoked a lot of rivalry between fans debating which of the two nights was better. A red suit was worn on the first day, and a black one on the second. Following the gig, Matt continued to wear his red suit at many other gigs including the ones at Wembley Stadium.
8. Which of these songs did Muse not play at "Live 8" in 2005?

Answer: New Born

"Bliss" was a welcome surprise as it had played less than the other songs which were concert regulars. Muse were were originally meant to play in England, but were moved to France late on. They played four songs, when most bands played two.
9. What was the only song from "Showbiz" played at the Reading Festival of 2006?

Answer: Showbiz

Another welcome surprise in the choice of songs, here Muse decided to opt for just one song off their first album, which was not a single. An encore break was originally planned between "Stockholm Syndrome" and "Take a Bow" (the last two songs), but apparantly, Matt couldn't bring himself to leave the stage.
10. Which song closed both the Wembley Stadium gigs in 2007?

Answer: Take a Bow

"Take a Bow" is one of Muse's most epic songs and was a fitting ending to the two Wembley gigs. It was also chosen to close with, as "Knights of Cydonia" was a more suitable opener following the "Dance of the Knights" intro music.
