Born in Philadelphia in 1960, this was her second single from her first album 'Smooth Talk', released in December 1977. Later, with the demise of disco, she dropped the 'Champagne' from her name. Her biggest chart hit was in 1982 with 'Love Come Down'.

One of the front runners of glam rock, The Sweet had 15 Top 40 hits, including 'Ballroom Blitz' which got to number 2 on the UK charts in September of 1973.

Mud had 15 UK Top 40 hits in the 70's, including number ones with, 'Tiger Feet', 'Lonely This Christmas' and 'Oh Boy'.

Australian entertainer Rolf had this tear jerker at number one for six weeks in Dec '69 and January 1970.

ABBA had nine number one hits in the UK in all, the last being 'The Winner Takes It All'. All four songs listed were number ones between 1975 - 1977.

Scottish group,renowned for their tartan, who became one of the biggest teen idol groups since The Beatles.

Answer: David Bowie

Both songs were written and produced by David Bowie, he even supplied backing vocals for Lulu on 'Man Who Sold The World'.

Answer: Are Friends Electric?

Tubeway Army was chiefly Gary Numan, who provided vocals, guitar and synthesizer, with his uncle, Jess Lidyard, on percussion and Paul Gardner on bass. When Gary went solo, the later two went on to form Dramatis, with rather lesser chart success.
10. 'I'm Every Woman' was a hit in 1993 for Whitney Houston. But who originally charted with it?

Chaka Khan reached number 11 in 1978, and fared even better with the remix version in 1989 with a number eight position.
