From the album "Sulk", "Party Fears Two" was released in February 1982, spent ten weeks on the UK singles chart and reached number nine. The Associates released three albums and seven singles that charted in the UK and "Party Fears Two" was their biggest hit. Singer Billy MacKenzie died in 1997 aged 39.
