So I haven't been to this website in a long time, and about two years ago I made an Indie lyrics quiz. Here I am two years later with part 2, I wonder how much my music taste has changed. I am thinking this one will be harder.

This song, "Shooting Rockets (From The Desk of Night's Ape)" was actually remade by Dan Bejar for the Destroyer album "Trouble in Dreams". It was originally recorded with a side project of his, Swan Lake, with Spencer Krug of Wolf Parade and Casey Mercer of Frog Eyes.

A note, Bishop Allen is still together, the other two bands, Pavement and Guided by Voices have disbanded.

This song is called "Secret Meeting" from their 2005 album "Alligator". The National are originally from Brooklyn and consists of two pairs of brothers plus a singer.

The band Beirut is actually mostly the work of Zach Condon. He plays a majority of the instruments on the album "The Flying Club Cup" where the track this song "Nantes" is from. On the album, he takes a lot of influence from his travels to France including using parts of a French movie in this song.

These lyrics are from the song "My Year In Lists" from their debut album "Hold On Now, Youngster...". They released their second album "We Are Beautiful, We Are Doomed" nine months after their debut. As a side note, each member of the band has adopted the last name Campesinos as a stage name.
