Answer: first Iron Maiden

Of course he was the lead singer of the Iron Maiden to record an album! He made "Killers" and "Iron Maiden" with them.

He is one of the creators of KISS (and lead singer/guitarist).

Of course Tom Araya wasn't the vocalist! Tom plays bass/vocals for Slayer. Neil sang for "Fistful of Metal", John sang for albums from 1992 to 2005 and Joey sang for albums from 1984 to 1992 and came back to sing in 2005 and is (from wikipedia) making a new album due out in 2007, but don't count on it.

Of course he is the lead singer for Green Jell˙ (or Green Jellö). Green Jelly was originally named Green Jellö but since Jell-o is a trademark,(you know the snack) they changed the name to Green Jelly (by the way, the band slogan used to be "GREEN JELLÖ SUCKS!"). Green Jell˙ is a comedy/metal/punk band. Paul Stanley joked that they are like KISS's illegitimate child, they are sort of like them but added something.
