Bertolt Brecht wrote the original poem in German and it was then translated into English by Elisabeth Hauptmann in 1925. The poem was published in his collection called "Hauspostille" in 1927. Kurt Weill set it to music in 1927 and as a song it was performed by Weill's wife Lotte Lenya in 1930.

The Doors recorded their famous cover version in 1966 for their debut eponymous album which landed in second position on the US Billboard 200 album chart. This song has been covered by the likes of David Bowie, Marianne Faithful, Bette Midler and Marilyn Manson as well.

A very popular song, it made top position on six international charts, including the US Billboard Hot R&B Singles and US Cash Box Top 100 charts.

Aerosmith recorded "Walk This Way" in 1975 for their album "Toys in the Attic". It reached tenth position on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart. Run-D.M.C. covered the song in 1986 for their album "Raising Hell". While having members of the original band playing on the cover version is not unique, being involved in the Run-D.M.C. cover version helped Aerosmith make a comeback after their 1985 album "Done With Mirrors" only just managed to break into the top forty of the US Billboard 200 album chart.

The talk box is a device that allows musicians to apply effects to their music. It allows them to apply speech sounds to their musical instruments. Frampton first came into contact with the talk box while doing session work for George Harrison on his 1970 album "All Things Must Pass".

Written and sung by Lindsey Buckingham, "Go Your Own Way"and was the first single from the band's 1977 album "Rumours". On Rolling Stone's "500 Greatest Songs of All Time" list, the song placed at position 120. Rolling Stone also rated the song at number one on Fleetwood Mac's 50 Greatest Songs.

Toto are an American rock band, formed in 1977. They recorded thirteen studio albums from 1978 to 2006 and then disbanded in 2008. The band reformed in 2010 and recorded two more albums, "Toto XIV" released in 2015 and "40 Trips Around the Sun" release date 2018. From the band's inception, only two members have remained constant in the lineup, guitarist Steve Lukather and keyboardist David Paich. They have had four different vocalists in that time however, with two of them actually alternating time with the band.

"Rosanna" was recorded for the 1982 album "Toto IV" and charted well on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart reaching second place.

"Something" was written by George Harrison for his wife Pattie Boyd according to her 2007 autobiography "Wonderful Today".
