Many tourist have seen an "Elenor Rigby" tombstone in a cemetery in the Liverpool, England area, and some accounts have Paul and John strolling through a cemetary and getting the inspiration from the headstone. The question of why one-half of "The Beatles" was in a cemetery remains a mystery.
In an interview, Paul claimed that "Rigby" was the name of a store and "Eleanor" was from the actress Eleanor Bron. He thought the name "Eleanor Rigby" sounded natural.
