There are four members in the band, Thirteen Senses. The Cornish quartet involves Will South (vocals / piano guitar), Tom Welham (guitar / backing vocals) Adam Wilson (bass) and Brendon James (drums). Thirteen Senses released their first album, 'The Invitation,' on the 12th of July 2005.

These lyrics appear on the second verse of the third track of the album 'Gone':

"Sometimes I climb to the top to see what's above
But when I find it there, there's no time for happiness

'Gone' is one of the shortest songs on this album. This makes the song seem to have more singing on it compared to other songs which seem to have a lot of instrumental solos.

The best song of the album, in my opium is 'Saving'. The beginning verse to the song is as follows:

"I see so little time
My eyes are crossed, my hands are tied
All I wanna do is that great thing
I never see a passer-by
My skin is cold, it's turned to ice
And everything I do, I want leaving me"

'Undivided' follows later in the album and begins as such: "A friend, the only friend who whispers in your ear." 'Morning life' is a song from the album "Pushing The Senses" by Feeder and 'Go' is a song from Blink 182's self-entitled album.

Answer: History

The line, 'People get down on your knees for the crowd' is used six times throughout the ninth song of the album, 'History'. Although this line can seem to have little relation to the other lines used, it fits perfectly with the music and repetition works well within the song.

All three other songs appear earlier on the album and seem to have more lyrics then 'History'. As well as this these three songs also have definitely lengthier verses and choruses.

The last song on the album is entitled 'Automatic'. This song is also one of the longest tracks of the album lasting for over five minutes. The lines "Space and time, frozen, Distance is behind" is repeated four times while the backing music slowly gets louder and faster.

Answer: Do No Wrong

The fourth Track on the Album 'Do No Wrong' easily has the most amount of song lyrics compared to all the other songs. This song is very cleverly written with use of much repetition, rhyme and description of how the world can seem both suffocating and cold.

'Saving' appears later on the album and is aimed more at one person in particular instead of the world in general. 'Satellite News' is a Feeder song from their album 'Echo Park' and 'Your Eyes Open' is from the Keane album 'Hopes and Fears'.

The first song of the album entitled 'Into the Fire' begins as such:

"Come on, come on
Put your hands into the fire
Explain, explain
As I turn and meet the power
This time, this time
Turning white and senses dire
Pull up, pull up
From one extreme to another"

Compared to the other songs within 'The Invitation' it is fairly lively. The one verse and chorus are repeated twice before the slower and sadder lines which end the song.

Answer: "Just to say good luck and that is all you need to hear"

'Undivided' is a fairly short and slow song. Unlike many of the other tracks the song begins straight away with very thoughtful words:

"A friend, the only friend who whispers in your ear
Just to say good luck and that is all you need to hear
I wrap up cold so when I march on my bare heels
Everything I lack in style's made up with how I feel"

This song is quite quick to begin but again has a lot of rhyme and music solos which add to the atmosphere the band try to create.

The opening line to the fifth song on the album 'The Salt Wound Routine' begins as such:

"Red letters on the dashboard, oh what a gift"

'The Salt Wound Routine' was one of the group's first singles. Released on the 28th of March 2005 it reached a chart position in the UK charts of forty fifth.

Answer: Last Forever

The eighth song on the album 'Last Forever' chorus contains these lyrics:

"Angel see the signs
Don't worry leaving me behind"

The chorus of 'Thru of the Glass' includes the opening line of "You got us into this, so get us out of this," The chorus of 'Lead Us' begins "And that's what brings me nearer to the rest," while 'Angels and Spies' just repeats the title words in different contexts.
