1. "King of the Road"
Answer: Miller
Roger Miller (1936-1992) was a country/novelty/pop singer. He hit the height of his fame in the 1960s with songs like "England Swings" in 1965, and "Dang Me" from 1964. His most famous song, "King of the Road", was written and recorded in November 1964. Miller had seven kids, which might explain why he was 'on the road' a lot.
In 1982, he charted with his last top 20 country tune, i.e., "Old Friends" with Willie Nelson.
2. 61 in '61
Answer: Maris
Roger Maris (1934-1985), a right fielder for the MLB New York Yankees, had the distinction of being the first to break Babe Ruth's single season home run record. Ruth set the record in 1927, and it held up until Maris hit 61 home runs in his last at bat in the 1961 season.
This generated some controversy, however, because, in 1927, teams played 154 games, while the number of games in 1961 was 162 games. Roger's record held up until 1998 when it was broken by Mark McGwire.

One of his most notable achievements was his fifty year marriage (until his death) to actress Ann-Margret.

Roger "Rocket" Clemens was a Major League baseball pitcher for 24 seasons. Over the course of his career, from 1984 through 2007, he played for the Boston Red Sox, Toronto Blue Jays, New York Yankees and Houston Astros. Among his achievements are winning the Cy Young Award seven times, the American League MVP in 1986, and being voted to the All-Star game eleven times.
He ended his career with 350 wins and 4,500 strikeouts, but with a steroid cloud hanging over him.

He is responsible for such films as 1956's "And God Created Woman" starring Brigitte Bardot, and 1968's "Barbarella" starring Jane Fonda. Among the books he wrote was the autobiographical "Bardot, Deneuve and Fonda: My Life with the Three Most Beautiful Women in the World", published in 1986.
11. First to break the 4 minute mile

Sir Roger Bannister (1929-2018) was not only a middle-distance runner but also a neurologist. He first set a British record in the 1500 metres in the 1952 Olympics held in Helsinki, Finland. But it wasn't until May 6, 1954 that Bannister did the unbelievable, running a mile in under four minutes, i.e., exactly 3 minutes and 59.4 seconds. Just six weeks later, Australian runner John Landy eclipsed Roger's record at 3:57:9, but history will never forget the name of Roger Bannister.
12. "Mr. Men" books

Roger Hargreaves (1935-1988) was a British author and illustrator of children's books.
