Answer: Cumberland

Cumberland brokeaway from Western Suburbs, lasting only one season in which they were awarded the wooden spoon. Canberra were formed in 1982, Annandale in 1910 to replace Newcastle who had originally been in the NSWRL for 1908 and 1909 but left to start their own local competition. Annandale left the premiership in 1920 (after only 11 years, taking out the wooden spoon three times).

'Changa' was in the side that suffered a record 38-0 loss to Eastern Suburbs. Paul Langmack, Gary Larson, and Allan (Alfie) Langer are all other former league players.

This photo was taken by John O'Gready and is called "The Gladiators", and was made into a trophy for the premiership. Iro was a Kiwi.
