Answer: Mickey Lolich

Lolich who pitched 16 years in baseball, played 13 of those with the Tigers. He certainly had the Hall of Fame numbers and many stellar seasons. He won the World Series MVP in 1968, and was much overshadowed by fellow Tiger Denny McLain.
2. Which of the following teams won 116 games during the regular season in 1906?

Answer: Cubs

In 1906, the Cubs went a miraculous 116-36. Their closest rival was the 2nd place New York Giants, who were finished 20 games behind. None of the other teams listed, existed in 1906.
3. Which of the following Yankees, won two season batting titles?

Answer: Joe DiMaggio

DiMaggio won two titles for the Yankees in 1939 and 1940. He batted .381 in 1939 and .352 in 1940. In 1941, he batted .357 but did not win the title.
4. Who managed a Major League team at the age of 23 years?

Answer: Roger Peckinpaugh

Peckinpaugh was 23 years old when he managed the Yankees in 1914. He lasted only 17 games. He was the youngest manager in the 20th century.

Nuxhall was a month and a half shy of his 16th birthday, when he pitched two-thirds of an inning for Cincinnati, in June 1944 when the Cardinals beat the Reds 18-0. The youngest American Leaguer, was Carl Scheib in 1943 being 16 years, 8 months, and 5 days old.
