Answer: Sandy Koufax

Koufax either set or broke many league pitching records in his career. He was forced to retire in 1966 due to arthritis.
2. Which of the following teams did Reggie Jackson never play for?

Answer: San Diego Padres

'Mr. October' never wore a Padre uniform. Reggie played one season for the Orioles in 1976, where he hit 27 home runs in the season.
3. Which player had the nickname, "Stan the Man"?

Answer: Stan Musial

Stan Musial played his entire career with the Cardinals from 1941-1963. He missed the 1945 season due to war obligations. He smacked 475 home runs for St.Louis throughout his career. He also pitched in one game in his career in 1952, but went no-decision.

Ironically, this speedster never stole more than 17 bases in a season. Only 3 players in the 20th century hit 26 triples in a season, to be the runner-ups.

Jackson was a member of the Black Sox scandal in 1919, which allegedly fixed a World Series against the Cincinnati Reds, in which the Reds won the Series 5 games to 3. His final season of baseball was in 1920. The other teams listed, did not exist until at least 40 years later.

The Tigers were always the Tigers. Their franchise began in 1901, along with many other teams in the Major Leagues. After numerous American League pennants, the Tigers won their first World Series in 1935 against the Cubs of Chicago. Mickey Cochrane played the role of catcher and manager for the team, which rostered the likes of Hank Greenberg, Goose Goslin, and the pitching arms of Schoolboy Rowe and Tommy Bridges.
10. Which of the following players won a season MVP Award in both the American and National League?

Answer: Frank Robinson

All the players except Robinson played their entire career with one team. Frank won his first MVP in 1961 with the Cincinnati Reds, then again with the Orioles of Baltimore in 1966. This Hall of Famer and baseball great, went into managing after he retired as a player in 1976.
