Joe retired with 361. Only four players had hit more home runs. They were Ruth (714), Foxx (536), Ott (511), and Gehrig (493) ... 361 was quite a feat for only playing 14 years!
2. Who was the first player to score 3 times in the same inning of a game?

Answer: Sammy White

White scored 3 times in the 7th inning as his Red Sox were playing the Tigers on June 18th, 1953. The Red Sox had a 17 run inning in the 7th. He is the only player who accompished this feat during the 20th century.
