Answer: Atlanta

The Braves won 60 games prior to the All-Star break, to continue their tear in the National League. The other teams listed were at least 20 wins behind behind Atlanta.
2. Which of the following greats, was inducted into the Hall of Fame first?

Answer: Walter Johnson

Johnson was amongst the first 5 inductees in 1936, over 25 years earlier than the other listed inductees. Johnson spent his entire career of 21 seasons in a Washington uniform, and won 417 games.

The others listed were not pitchers. Consistency was Bunning's trade. Although his numbers weren't superstar caliber every season, he was near the top of the heap. In 1957 he was 20-8 with Detroit. His 2nd place Cy Young voting, saw him with a 17-15 record in 1967 as a Phillie.

Answer: George Burns

Although Feller won the Triple Crown in 1940, he never won a MVP. Burns a primary first baseman, won the award in 1926 with the Indians. He played for 16 seasons, and retired in 1926.

The Pilots of Seattle saw their only season in 1969. After a 64-98 record, they packed their bags and moved to Milwaukee, to become the Brewers of the American League Western Division.

Answer: Jason Giambi

The only other 2002 player was A-Rod, but he played for the Rangers. Giambi, who came from Oakland the previous season, led the pinstripes with 41.
