9. A local lad, I was PFA Young Player of the year in 1978 and went on to player for England 46 times scoring 16 goals. Made well over 100 appearances for Forest, and I was eventually was sold to Cologne.
10. This player returned to the City Ground in 2002, after a spell in Italy with Sampdoria and back home with Sheffield Wednesday. A very quick central defender, and I represented my country many times. My International career ended after a game against Holland where a very quick Marc Overmars got the better of me.
11. I was capped 125 time by England. I was regarded as the 'reserve' for my position for several years and alternated, and it makes you wonder just how many caps I could and perhaps should have won. I was signed for a then British record transfer fee for my position, and made over 200 appearances for Forest. I was said to be worth '12 points' a season, and also had a short and chequered stab at management.
12. Signed from Millwall in 1991, I played over 40 league games scoring 14 goals for Forest and was a fabulous stiker. Crafty with a footballer's brain, and Jurgen Klinsmann rated me the best he had ever played alongside, which is not a bad reference! Many Forest fans rated my sale as the start of a sad decline in the Reds fortunes. I finally won 'something' at Manchester United.
13. I played over 70 games in all competitions for Forest and scored 41 times, not a bad strike rate. I was skillful, quick and had a great free kick. I should have been adored but sadly I left a sour taste in most peoples memory. I went on 'Strike' and said the team weren't good enough, well results perhaps proved me right in the end, but I won no friends for my behaviour.
14. In a mere 72 appearances for Forest he scored 50 goals in all competitons, he was sold for a then British record transfer fee to Liverpool and had the world at his feet. He had spells at Villa and in Spain, and left us all feeling in the end what a waste. He won three England caps, with two of those appearances as a substitute, when it could so easily have been 50 or 60.
15. This player went from being an England international to unable to make Manchester City's reserves in just a few years. He played over 400 games in all competitions and scored 131 goals for Forest, winning a total of 14 Caps for his country.
