1. In what year was the club formed?

Answer: 1865

They played their first game a year later, on 22nd March, 1866, against local soon-to-be rivals, Notts County.
2. Where did the club first play their League games?

Answer: Town Ground

The club played at Forest Racecourse from 1865-79, then The Meadows until 1880, followed by a spell at Trent Bridge until 1882, then Parkside (1882-85), Gregory (1885-90), Town Ground (1890-98), and then the City Ground. Forest were first elected into the League in 1892.
3. Who was the club's first manager in their history?

Answer: Harry Radford

Radford was manager between 1889-97, followed by Haslam (1897-1909), then Earp until 1912, and Masters between 1912-25. Forest have had some famous names as managers over the years, including Johnny Carey, Dave Mackay, Stuart Pearce, Ron Atkinson, and most famous of them all 'Old Big Head' Brian Clough.
4. In which year did Forest first win the FA Cup?

Answer: 1898

A 3-1 victory against Derby County gave Forest their first FA Cup. It wasn't until 61 years later when they would win it again, with Luton Town losing 2-1.
5. Which of these played the most League games for the club?

Answer: Bob McKinlay

McKinlay played 614 League games for Forest between 1951-70.
6. Which club did former players Peter Davenport and Neil Webb both sign for after leaving Forest?

Answer: Manchester United

Davenport went into management after retiring from the game, and briefly managed Macclesfield Town. Webb was forced to retire from the game with injuries, and never quite captured the form that once made him an England international after leaving Manchester United.
7. Who did Forest beat into second place to win the League title for the only time in the 20th century?

Answer: Liverpool

In the 1977-78 season, Forest became champions of England. They won the title by not losing at home, and only lost three games away all season.
8. Who scored the only goal of the game for Forest in the 1979 European Cup Final?

Answer: Trevor Francis

Forest beat Malmo of Sweden 1-0 in the final that year in the Olympic Stadium, Munich, West Germany. A year later, they won it again in the Bernabeu, Madrid, Spain when they beat SV Hamburg (and Kevin Keegan) with a solitary strike from John Robertson.
9. Which of these scored the most goals in a season for the club?

Answer: Wally Ardon

Ardon scored 36 League goals in the 1950-51 Division Three (South) season.
10. Where did Des Walker play before re-signing for Forest in 2002?

Answer: Sheffield Wednesday

Walker began his career at the City Ground in 1983, before moving to Sampdoria in 1992 for one season. He then played for Sheffield Wednesday between 1993-2002, before moving back to Forest.
