Answer: Kansas City

The Royals won their division in 1976. They were the first to win a pennant in 1980, and the first expansion team to win a World Series in 1985.

Answer: Bill Holbert

Holbert holds the record for this unfortunate feat way back from 1876-1888. All others listed had only hit one home run in their career.
3. What pitcher played for 5 different teams from 1974 to 1978 and won 14 or more games for each team?

Answer: Mike Torrez

Torrez pitched for the Expos, Orioles, A's, Yankees, and Red Sox between 1974 and 1978. No other player has ever done this.

Oliver won his first in 1982 with Montreal at the age of 35. Gehringer was the oldest in the American League. At 34 he won his with the Tigers in 1937.

Answer: Chuck Klein

Klein is the only one who achieved this feat during the 20th century. In 1930 with Philadelphia (NL) he provided 445 total bases, then again in 1932 he totaled 420.
