Williams set this record in 1942. He had 186 hits, 145 walks, and was HBP 4 times. Ted Williams is tied for 2nd and also 3rd in this category in a season.
2. Which Yankee team had 9 future Hall of Famers on their roster?

Answer: All three of these

Plus, the 1933 Yankees all had nine future Hall of Famers. The 1928 team included Leo Durocher who was inducted as a manager and not as a player.
3. How many '500 home run club' members have never appeared in a World Series game during the 20th century?

Answer: 2

Barry Bonds and Ernie Banks of the Cubs with 512 were the only two who did not.
4. What National Leaguer played on 4 pennant-winning clubs, and was the left fielder to watch the 'shot' from Bobby Thomson sail over his head in 1951?

Answer: Andy Pafko

Pafko played from 1943 to 1959. The pennant winners include the Cubs in 1945, the Dodgers in 1952, the Braves in 1957 and 1958. It was the infamous 'shot' that he watched go over his head in 1951 to give the Giants the pennant against the Dodgers.
