1.1 "Pilot" Trivia Quiz

This episode centered a lot around Allison, since her roommate moved out and she had to look for a new roommate. She placed an ad in the paper, and it took a while for her to get a roommate that she wanted to move in to her apartment. She finally settled on a new man she had met, named Billy Campbell. Billy and Allison became very good friends and that soon blossomed into a relationship between the two.

Since Allison's roommate left, in the middle of the night, she was not aware that her roommate had left her high and dry until the morning. When she woke up, she called out for her roommate Natalie, and told her to make some coffee. She realized that Natalie was not there and would not be coming back since she had cleaned out her room.

When "Melrose Place" began, Michael Mancini was the landlord for the apartment complex. Eventually, he decided to move out of his apartment and he bought a home along the beach. At the end of season one, it was revealed that Amanda Woodward was the new landlord for the apartment complex.

When Allison ran into another tenant, Rhonda Blair, she told her about how her roommate had just left without notice and in the middle of the night. Rhonda claimed that she saw Allison's roommate leave with a bunch of luggage right in the middle of the night. Allison asked Rhonda why she didn't try to stop her or ask her what was going on so Rhonda said she could not stop her since it was none of her business.

When Allison went to work at D&D Advertising, she accidentally hit someone's car but it was minor damage. The person she hit asked her if she was the new receptionist at D&D Advertising, and Allison replied that she was. He introduced himself as Al Barber and welcomed her aboard to the company. Allison noted that she had just started the job.

Near the beginning of the episode, one of the tenants, Sandy Harling, was seen lounging by the pool. Kelly Taylor showed up and was looking for Jake Hanson but Sandy told her he was not home. Kelly asked Sandy to let Jake know she stopped by and she let Sandy know her name.

In one scene, Billy Campbell introduced himself to Allison, and said he saw her ad looking for a new roommate. This was when he told Allison that her roommate, Natalie, was a friend of his and she had notified him she was leaving. Billy said he was still living with his parents but he wanted to move out on his own. Allison, after some time and consideration, agreed to let Billy move in with her.

When we saw Sandy, midway through the episode, she was waiting tables at Jake's bar and restaurant, Shooters. When she spoke to Jake, she told him that a high school friend of his named Kelly Martin came by to see him at his apartment while he was out. Sandy had assumed that Jake slept with Kelly but he assured her that did not happen between him and Kelly.

Allison began to meet some potential new roommates, and the first prospective one introduced herself to Allison while smoking a cigarette. Allison told her she made it quite clear that she did not want a roommate who smoked. The person said she was down to a pack a day but Allison said it would not work out. None of the people that Allison met were ones she felt comfortable with, for a roommate, so she decided to take up Billy on his offer to move in to her apartment.

Allison decided that the only prospective roommate that was ideal to her was Billy, so she asked him to move in to her apartment. When he started to move in, he met Michael and Michael welcomed him to the apartment complex. He told Billy to pay his rent on time, never knock on his door before 8 a.m., and to not urinate in the pool.
