Toussaint, born on September 25th, 1962 guest starred as Colleen Patterson in this episode. Colleen was a woman from Jake's past and she decided to pay him a visit. This was the only episode in which Toussaint played Colleen on the show. Toussaint has also guest starred on the TV series', "Matlock", "Cheers" and "21 Jump Street."

Billy was moping around since he needed to find some work and it seemed as if there was nobody hiring for jobs that he would like. Billy joked that perhaps he would make a good mall Santa since he had a job interview as one but it was not a job he wanted.

In Jane and Michael's first scene, they were seen in their apartment packing and Jane commented on how they would be going away for two nights on a short vacation and it would be to a romantic city. Jane stated how they would now get to be acting like two married people. Michael was then complaining about someone recommending he go to a family practice seminar but Jane told him to stop whining.

Billy was leaving his apartment and Jake ran into him and he asked Billy if he could have twenty dollars. Billy asked him what the money would be for so Jake told him his old girlfriend was coming to see him and he was going to take her for lunch. Billy decided to give him the money.

Allison was having some discomfort so she went to go see a doctor and the doctor told her that her uterus was enlarged, which would explain the discomfort. Allison asked her what she meant by enlargement but her doctor told her that could mean many things.

Her doctor asked her if she had been sexually active so Allison said she was seeing someone but that she could not have been pregnant since they used protection and she had not missed a period.

Matt and Rhonda were seen in one scene around many boxes of fruit and Matt was helping Rhonda load them into a car. Matt also had a clipboard with him to write down what they had and he told her they were short in quantity of strawberries. Rhonda went to get some more strawberries but a gentleman told her she could not have them since they were special ordered.

She and the man started to argue but Matt came up and said he found the other strawberries.

Jones, born in 1962 in Detroit, Michigan guest starred as Terrence in this episode. Terrence was the man Rhonda met when they argued over strawberries and Terrence felt guilty for being rude to her so he offered to make it up to her. Jones portrayed Terrence for ten episodes on the series. Jones has also guest starred on the TV shows, "China Beach", "Roseanne" and "Boston Legal."

Jake and Jo were seen at Shooters in one scene and Jake told Jo he would like to speak to her in private. Jo told Jake at one point that just because she could not be trusted did not mean she could not be good looking. Jake laughed at how that did not seem to make a lot of sense. Jake told Jo about his ex girlfriend back in Washington and how his ex told him they had a child together.

Billy told her she had to learn how to face bureaucrats and then mentioned how his father still paid for his utility bills in person.
