Allison told him to come in so Billy informed her how he could not sleep all night since he was thinking a lot about Amanda's being pregnant and he being the baby's father.

Angel, born on November 10th, 1966 in London, England guest starred as Karen in this episode. Karen was a woman who Jo photographed and she did great work with Karen that it helped her land more great job opportunities. Angel portrayed Karen in just two episodes for the show. She has also guest starred on the TV series', "Veronica's Closet", "Baywatch" and "Murder, She Wrote."

Allison told Billy she was glad that he and Amanda had everything figured out.

Marcia Cross debuted, in this episode, as Kimberly Shaw. Kimberly was an intern, at Wilshire Memorial Hospital, and proved to be one of the show's most popular characters. She was considered the ultimate villainess, of the show, and did many bad deeds, such as blow up the apartment complex, run down Michael Mancini and framed Jane and Sydney for the crime, nearly killed Peter while she had him falsely committed to a mental hospital, and much more. Kimberly appeared in a total of 114 episodes for the series.

From Quiz 1.10 "Burned"

At the beginning of the episode, Jake was going up, to his apartment, and Sandy came up to meet him and say hello. When Jake opened the door, to his apartment, everyone in the apartment complex yelled, "surprised!", and there was a happy birthday sign for Jake. For the party, the tenants all ordered pizza but the party became somber when Jake's estranged mother showed up.

Billy said he was not a mechanic but he had dealt with car trouble, over the years, and had some knowledge on fixing cars. The woman allowed Billy to look at her car.

When this episode began, we saw Sandy and Rhonda shopping for hats and Sandy said she really did not want to buy a hat since she felt there was no need to have one in Los Angeles. Rhonda said a hat was the most important fashion accessory for women. A guy named Paul arrived, at the store, and he advised Sandy to ditch the hat she tried on and Sandy agreed.

When the episode began, Sandy was seen letting out a blood curdling scream and it was revealed that she was auditioning a role in a horror movie, so the scream was her being in character. Sandy continued to act out the scene, in the first scene, and asked a character who he/she was and what he/she wanted. Sandy told the person to stay away from her and, a short while later, we saw she was acting out the scene in front of the casting director. Sandy won the role.

Billy told them he hoped they all knew of a good dry cleaner.

Billy and Allison became very good friends and that soon blossomed into a relationship between the two.
