The Riddler's moll, Pauline, entered a bakery and lied to the baker there that she had no money for which to buy food from him. She then threw a shawl over his head, which then allowed one of The Riddler's cohorts to knock the baker out. The Riddler picked up one of his pies and tossed it into the guy's face. There was a sedative in the pie, causing the security guard to lose consciousness.
