This episode was centered on Charlie and he was involved in all of the flashbacks. For the first flashback, Charlie was shown as a young boy and he walked down the steps to open up his Christmas presents. For that Christmas, Charlie got a piano from his mother. Charlie's brother, Liam, was also featured in this flashback.

Charlie started to have many strange dreams and delusions in this episode and the first one happened when he had a dream involving Aaron, Claire's son. In the dream, Charlie was playing his piano in the ocean and Aaron cried since he was trapped inside of it. Charlie started to panic in fear that he would not save Aaron but then he woke up and realized this was all a dream.

After Charlie awoke from his dream, he started to run and find Claire and Aaron so he came upon Sun. He asked Sun if Claire and Aaron were alright and where they were. Sun pointed Charlie in their direction and, when Charlie saw Claire and Aaron, they were with Locke. Charlie started to become jealous of Claire's closeness to Locke to where Claire suggested Charlie give her some space.

Answer: Zack Shada

Shada, born on November 25th, 1992 in Boise, Idaho portrayed Liam, Charlie's brother, as a young child in this episode. Shada appeared as a younger Liam in two episodes for the first five seasons of the show. Shada also guest starred on the TV shows, "Grey's Anatomy", "According to Jim", and "MADtv."

Charlie went to the hospital with his mom to see Liam's new baby daughter, Megan. When Charlie went home, he saw Liam had been zoned out as a result of smoking drugs. When Liam came to, Charlie informed him that he had a daughter and her mother decided to name her Megan.

Near the beginning of the episode, Sawyer and Kate were relaxing and Hurley was nearby so he asked Sawyer about the "Tailies", his nickname for the group of survivors from the tail end of Oceanic 815. Sawyer commented that he got to know them pretty well so Hurley inquired about Libby. Sawyer asked Hurley if perhaps he had a crush on her but Hurley denied it.

As Sawyer and Kate continued to talk, they noticed how Jack and Ana Lucia were walking down the beach. Sawyer commented on how Jack was giving her a $20 tour and they both speculated on if Jack was romantically interested in her. Near the end of the previous episode, Jack and Ana Lucia bonded as she told him a little bit of her past as a police officer.

Charlie started to have another vision of where Aaron was in his crib and they floated out into the ocean. In Charlie's vision, he saved Aaron and was told by others he had to save him. Hurley came to Charlie and snapped him out of his vision and asked him what he was doing with Aaron in the middle of the night. Claire started to scream at Aaron being missing but she saw him in Charlie's arms.

She slapped Charlie across the face for taking him but was unaware of his vision.

After Charlie had his strange visions and dreams, he spoke to Mr. Eko, who was a priest, about them and Mr. Eko suggested how Charlie did indeed feel as if he needed to save Aaron. They came up with an idea to have Aaron baptized since Charlie's visions involved people close to him as religious figures and this would keep Aaron out of danger.

At the end of the episode, Mr. Eko baptized Aaron.

Midway through the episode, Hurley was seen loading his laundry into the washing machine in the hatch and by his side was Libby, as she also needed to wash her clothes. Libby asked Hurley if the washer and dryer were new since they looked that way but Hurley said he only cared if they washed the clothes. Libby s showed Hurley a piece of clothing and asked Hurley if she would look good in it but Hurley was silent. Libby advised Hurley that, if a woman asked him in the future about looking good in clothing, it would be wise to answer her.
