2.16 "The Whole Truth" Trivia Quiz

This episode began with a flashback of Sun and Jin as they enjoyed a romantic evening together and discussed having a baby. Jin suggested they go visit a fertility doctor since it had been a year but they were unsuccessful in having a child. Sun informed Jin how there would be no purpose for her to get pregnant when he would be barely home to raise a child. This caused Jin to get irate.

In Sun's first scenes on the island, she was planting her garden and Jin came up and scared her. Jin began to argue with Sun since she was right by the place where she was last attacked and he demanded they go back to the camp together. Sun refused so Jin decided to ruin her garden so that she would not have a reason to be around the location spot where she got attacked.

As the opening credits rolled, the first character we saw was Ana Lucia and she sprinted and eventually ran towards Locke. Locke commented on how she ran like the devil was chasing her and she responded how perhaps a devil was after her. Locke commended her for keeping in shape.

As Locke and Ana Lucia continued to talk, Locke informed her how Jack was keeping watch outside her tent since they found someone who they felt was a member of The Others. Ana Lucia wondered why they would do this so Locke informed her how he and Jack knew Ana Lucia had contact with The Others, she was a cop, and she was the best one of everybody to understand them. Locke informed her how Jack did not know he told her all this information.

Ana Lucia decided she would speak to Ben and use her skills from her days as a police officer to try and get more of Ben's story. She spoke to him about her first days on the island and how she managed to walk a long way just shortly after the crash. Ben was impressed but Ana Lucia wanted him to talk to her more about his story but Ben assured her he told most of it to Jack and Locke.

In Sawyer's first scene, he was seen reading a book by Judy Blume (as the camera closed in on the cover, you could see her name) and Sun came up to talk to him. She asked him how the book was and he said it was nice but did not have enough sex. Sun asked him for some medical supplies and Sawyer wanted to know what she specifically needed. Sun asked him for a pregnancy test.

Sun got her pregnancy test, from Sawyer, and continued to walk through the jungle. As she got to one part of the jungle, she noticed Hurley and immediately hid the pregnancy test behind her back. Hurley said hello to her and offered her a chocolate bar, which he found in the middle of the jungle. Sun declined and so Hurley informed her that he was going back to the camp.

Midway through the episode, we saw Sayid and Charlie putting together some sticks which were being used to build a bigger tent for the camp. While they were building it, Ana Lucia went up to Sayid and spoke to him about Ben Linus. She gave him a map which Ben had given to her and Sayid offered to go with Ana Lucia to find the destination on the map.

Sun went to go talk to Kate about the pregnancy test she got from Sawyer and this left Kate amused since she laughed at the thought of Sawyer hauling around pregnancy tests in his medical supplies. She asked Kate if she had ever taken a pregnancy test before, to which Kate responded she had. Sun thanked Kate for comforting her as they waited for the results of the test, which turned out to be positive.

Ana Lucia and Sayid sat by a fire one night and she decided to get a little emotional with him. Ana complained about how she knew people did not necessarily like her and that she tried to get people to like her for her entire life. Midway through their conversation, she apologized to him for her accidentally shooting Shannon but Sayid told her how he felt it was The Others who killed her.
