Answer: Wayne Palmer

Wayne served as Chief of Staff for his brother, David Palmer's, administration and learned a lot from him. At some point during the 20 months between the end of Season 5 and the beginning of season 6, Wayne was talked into running for president himself, and he obviously won the election.
Both Palmers were competent, level-headed presidents, unafraid of making difficult decisions, but generally working towards the most peaceable solution possible.
Wayne was played by D.B. Woodside.

Jack's respect for these three friends, presumably killed in Season 5, was immense. When Graem admitted that he had been the one to order their deaths, Jack went off the deep end, pulling himself together when he saw his father watching. Jack's father requested a few minutes alone with Graem during which time he killed his son, so that he could not reveal any further information.
Graem was played by Paul McCrane and Jack's father, Phillip, was played by James Cromwell.

Answer: Morris O'Brian

After they lost their detonator in the premature explosion of the first nuke, the terrorists needed someone who could build an arming device, to enable them to use the remaining bombs. Darren McCarthy, the man who brokered the sale of the nukes, came up with the name of Morris O'Brian as someone who had the capabilities of performing that task, but who would be uncooperative. Morris was kidnapped and tortured until he gave them what they wanted.
A CTU agent, Morris had a hard time living with himself and what he saw as his own cowardice afterwards.
Morris was played by Carlo Rota.

Answer: attached to aerial drones

Dmitri Gredenko, who originally supplied the Russian built suitcase nukes that were sold to the terrorists, had arranged to also supply the terrorists with aerial drones that could be remotely controlled to explode over their respective targets. Five drones were supplied because there had originally been five bombs. One bomb had been prematurely exploded because of a CTU raid and a second had been disarmed by Jack, with Chloe's assistance, so only three remained.
Only one drone was successfully armed and launched before they were discovered and had to flee. Jack was able to prevent this bomb from exploding by directing it away from the perimeter line that it had to cross in order to detonate.
Gredenko was played by Rade Serbedzija.

Al-Assad was a former terrorist who was trying to bring his followers to a less violent path. President Palmer made a deal with Al-Assad, and planned to use him to try and get assistance from the Muslim community, in gaining any information that he could about the location of the bombs.
A faction of self-proclaimed patriots, including by Deputy Chief of Staff Reed Pollock, planted the bomb in an attempt to remove Palmer from office. They felt that Palmer didn't have the backbone to lead in the time of crisis, and wanted to see Vice President Noah Daniels, lead the country. Al-Assad actually saw the bomb and shouted out the warning that may have saved Palmer's life, although he was killed himself.
Al-Assad was played by Alexander Siddig.

Answer: Nadia Yassir

When the drone (armed with the nuke) was launched, CTU found they were unable to track it by satellite. Because she was a Muslim, Nadia was immediately suspected. A search revealed that Nadia's station was indeed relaying information to the drone which enabled it to stay one step ahead of them. Nadia was arrested and interrogated about this. A chip was later found, at the workstation of the Russian agent remotely controlling the drone, that showed how access was gained and exonerated Nadia.
Nadia was played by Marisol Nichols.

Jack was taken prisoner by the Chinese at the end of Season 5. During the 20 months between Season 5 and Season 6, Audrey Raines had gone to China to search for him. The Chinese had reported that she died in a car crash (something Jack only learned of part way through this season), but that had not been true.
After the threat from the suitcase nukes was dealt with, Jack received a phone call informing him that Audrey was indeed alive and he was allowed to talk to her. He immediately began to try and figure a way that he could rescue her without actually giving the Chinese the circuit board, which would give them information into the entire Russian defense system.
Audrey was played by Kim Raver and Cheng was played by Tzi Ma.

Answer: Karen Hayes

While being interrogated about his involvement in the plot to assassinate President Palmer, former Deputy Chief of Staff Reed Pollock revealed that the terrorist responsible for all of the recent attacks on American soil, Abu Fayed, had at one time been arrested and released by CTU. Karen Hayes, who had been working at Homeland Security at the time, sealed the file on Fayed, when he was released because there was no evidence against him.

It was decided that someone had to take the fall for Fayed's release and Karen, in her Season 6 capacity as National Security Advisor, was deemed to be too close to the president. She was given the option of either firing Buchanan (her husband) or being made the fall guy herself.
Karen was played by Jayne Atkinson and Bill was played by James Morrison.

Answer: Lisa Miller

VP Daniel's aide and romantic interest, Lisa Miller, was also romantically involved with lobbyist Mark Bishop. Unbeknownst to Lisa, Bishop was spying for the Russians and any information she told him was relayed to them. He also had a device for copying files on her PDA, and that information was also passed along.
When the Russians learned that the Chinese had a circuit board that could help them understand the entire Russian defense system, the Russians threatened an attack on a US base unless the board was recovered.
Lisa was played by Kari Matchett.

Answer: She was pregnant.

Chloe and Morris had been formerly married and divorced. During Season 5, Chloe sought out Morris' expertise and they ended up getting back together. Working closely together in season 6, they started fighting and Chloe said something totally inappropriate about how Morris had held the terrorists arm the bombs and he broke it off with her again.
When she collapsed he realized how important she was to him, which was good, since the reason for her collapse (on top of her exhaustion and stress of the day), was that she was pregnant.
Chloe was played by Mary Lynn Rajskub.
