2.8 "Collision" Trivia Quiz

The episode began with Ana Lucia at a shooting range firing off some shots since she once had a job as a police officer. In the next scene, Ana Lucia was seen speaking to her boss at the police department about getting her job back since she had been suspended. Ana Lucia's boss determined she was fit to be reinstated as a police officer and gave her her badge back.

Sayid was upset since Ana Lucia accidentally shot and killed his girlfriend, Shannon, so he went charging at her with a gun. Mr. Eko stepped in and prevented Sayid from harming her. Sayid and Mr. Eko struggled for a gun and, in the middle of their fight, Mr. Eko knocked out Sayid. Ana Lucia picked up Sayid's gun and ordered that Sayid be tied up.

Once Ana Lucia determined to have Sayid tied up, she told Libby that he was to do it. She demanded that Libby use the vines from Sawyer's stretcher they built to tie Sayid to a tree. Libby objected to this since she said how it was possible that Sawyer might not make it alive if his stretcher wasn't strong enough but this didn't persuade Ana Lucia to change her demand.

During the opening credits, Rose saw Jack right by the beach and went over to talk to him for a little bit. She informed him how happy she was to see him out of the hatch and to be back out in the sunshine again. As they talked, you could see them both eating fruit during their conversation.

Charlie and Hurley had found some golf clubs and figured that a good way to pass the time was to play some golf down by the beach. Kate decided to take a few swings so they told her to go ahead and hit a ball. Both Charlie and Hurley were impressed as to how good a golfer Kate was.

Libby was seen taking care of Sawyer while Sayid was seen bound to the tree courtesy of some vines. Sayid demanded that Ana Lucia untie him but she refused and, right after she did, Mr. Eko picked up Sawyer's body and lugged it over his shoulders. He told Ana he was taking him back to his camp but Ana advised him not to since, if Mr. Eko was in Sawyer's position, Sawyer would not help him. Mr. Eko said he was helping out Sawyer for himself and not for Sawyer.

Michael started to get up and Ana Lucia ordered him to sit down but Michael said he was just going to give Sayid some water. Ana allowed him to do this but she also instructed Michael to not even think of untying Sayid. Michael gave Sayid some water and told him how Ana Lucia was in the tail end section of Oceanic 815.

Jack and Kate were playing golf on a field in the jungle and, when Jack went to go look for a ball he hit, he saw Mr. Eko carrying Sawyer. Mr. Eko asked who the doctor was and Jack responded that he was the doctor. In the next scene, we saw Locke doing a crossword puzzle by the computer where he would reset the timer (the one which went off every 108 minutes). Locke was surprised when Mr. Eko, Jack, and Kate entered the hatch with Sawyer and Jack notified Locke how he was going to help Sawyer heal.

Ana Lucia demanded that Michael go back to his camp to get him some supplies, such as clothes, and if he did that then she would release Sayid. Michael did not want to go back but Libby and Ana Lucia persuaded him to do so but Michael would not budge. It was only until Jin spoke up and told Michael to go back that Michael obliged.

As Michael ran back to his camp to get supplies for Ana Lucia, he first saw Sun and she asked him how Jin was. Michael informed her that Jin was okay but he really needed to see Jack. Sun and Michael went into the hatch and saw Jack. Michael gave Jack the run down as to what happened so Jack decided to use the guns from the hatch and go after Ana Lucia.
