It had to be him, as any temperature change would cause an alarm to sound, and Angel was room temperature. He felt an effect from the shroud instantly. He cut the wires to the alarm by ripping them out, and then the others entered the vault.

The shroud was really getting to Gunn, who went on about vampires taking stuff. He said they take your blood and your sister, etc. Angel told "Lester" he was tired of listening to it. Then, he pinned Gunn to the wall and asked him if he was going to be behave. Gunn said he was "cool", but when Angel turned his back, Gunn went after him with a stake. Vyasa was played by "Candyman" actor Tony Todd.

Bob said he had to be tied up and someone had to hit him. He was all amped up and jittery. Vyasa went over to him and twisted his head clean off of his body. Robert Dolan played Bob.

The demon's power was released from the shroud and they were freed from its corruption. Menlo had already killed Vyasa by shooting him in the head.

Angel bit her, feeding on her blood. He had no choice but to act in the moment, or else one of the demons would have killed her. As he finished, he whispered to her to stay down or she be killed. We found this out in her remembrance of the event. Later, Wes mused to Cordy that he was worried Angel's blood lust had been reawakened.

Wes and Cordy realized, after Angel hadn't returned to the hotel, that the heist must be a go for that night. So, they went to the museum to warn him about the dangers of the shroud. Once they entered the museum, they were both immediately affected by the shroud's influence.

It did not make them angry and homicidal, but had more of a euphoric affect on their consciousness. Cordy spent time gazing into glass and musing about the size of her teeth, as well as stealing a necklace from the museum. She was still wearing the necklace in the final scene with Wes.
