The episode began at D&D Advertising where Amanda was interviewed by a detective of the Lost Angeles Police Department regarding Peter. Peter had been missing for a couple of days and the detective wanted to know if Amanda knew where he was. Amanda said she had no clue as to Peter's whereabouts but that she did know he did not run from the murder charges since he did not kill Bobby Parezi.

Jo left her apartment and was about to head out somewhere until she noticed Matt all sweaty. She asked him if he had been working out so he told her that he wish he had been but he believed he had the flu. He told Jo that he planned to go get some rest so Jo felt his forehead and told him he was burning up. Matt insisted he would be okay if he got some rest so he entered his apartment to rest up.

Jane visited Samantha Reilly's clothing store and Samantha complimented her on the clothes she wore that day. Jane said she designed it herself and mentioned how she worked as a designer. Samantha informed her that she would be interested in purchasing some of the clothes that Jane designed. Jane said she would like that so Samantha gave Jane her business card.

Michael was having a busy day at his private medical office and then he saw that Jane was there to speak to him. Michael told her that, due to being understaffed that day, it was not a good time for them to talk. Jane insisted that she would only take a minute so Michael agreed to hear her out. Jane mentioned how she was starting a new company and she wanted his financial assistance to help get it going. Michael refused to invest in Jane's new company.

While Jane spoke with Michael about her new company, Michael let it slip that Sydney drugged her drink at the Christmas party which almost left her permanently paralyzed. Sydney then entered the office and Jane brushed right past her. Sydney asked Michael what was Jane's problem so he let her know that he told Jane about her spiking her drink. Sydney blasted Michael for doing this but he defended himself, saying that he figured Jane already knew.

In one scene, Peter convinced Nurse Benson at the psychiatric hospital to help him break out of the hospital so she gave him the master key and told him to go out near the west entrance to the hospital. Peter also busted out two other patients and, when they went to go see Nurse Benson outside, she accused him of backstabbing her since he was not alone.

She pressed the emergency button and Peter was carried back into the hospital. Kimberly announced to the other patients that Peter would be getting a lobotomy as punishment for trying to escape.

In the final scene, Kimberly fired up a drill to begin the surgery on Peter.
