Durbin, a native of Council Bluffs, Iowa guest starred as Mark Paul in this episode. Mark was the actor Michael and Sydney hired to traumatize Kimberly. He played the part for a total of two episodes of "Melrose Place." He has also guest starred on the TV shows, "Star Trek: Deep Space Nine", "Star Trek: Voyager" and "Angel."

Then, he told him that he specifically wanted Mark to behave more like Freddy Krueger when going after Kimberly.

Midway through the episode, the party took place and Jane entered the apartment complex and saw Jake. He asked her if she knew where Jo was but Jane said she had no clue. Jake was surprised she did not know since Jane and Jo went on a photo shoot together and Jane was back so he assumed Jo was as well. Jane informed Jake how there was no photo shoot that day since Jo had a big mouth.
